A poem about bullying and how seriously it can affect people. Put it in the school category because most bullying happens at school. Reviews and constructive criticism are welome. Warning! Content includes death. Don't like, don't read. You have been warned.

A/N: First poem up here. Not so good with poetry, but I posted it anyways. Constructive criticism is appreciated, and reviews are nice.
. . .
The monster attempts to trap you,
Despair envelopes you,
Taunts break through your defences,
Jeers bring you down,
To your knees.
The stab of words
Inflict the deepest of
Wounds.
Unseen, but not any less real.
You cannot see a light.
The world is crashing down.
No one is there to lend a hand,
To lift you to your feet.
No, they all just stand there,
Turn the other way,
Pretend they see nothing,
Helping the monster to win.
The pain is becoming unbearable,
All alone the burden is
Too much to lift for much longer.
A door is open,
The last, but not best solution,
The monster is welcoming you in.
The bottle is nearby,
Its contents now empty,
You wait patiently,
Calmly for the end.
The world blurs.
The monster laughs.
Another life is lost.
Gone in the wind.
A victim of the monster.
. . .
Bullying is a terrible thing. Everyone should do their share to stop it.
