Carter was walking along the beach trying to calm himself down. He was beyond angry and only time would tell him when to calm down. He hasn't had that much of a flip out in a long time but Aksinya pushed his buttons tonight. He couldn't identify why he was so angry at her but then he thought to himself. It all came from Carah. Everything that was fueling his anger was from a small, local human girl. Carter sat down on the beach watching the waves concentrating. He should be able to locate her somewhere through blood but nothing was working. He focused on her as much as he could but nothing was coming to his mind. Aksinya must have hid her good if he cannot even get any connection. Nothing was showing up and he threw a rock into the middle of the ocean.

"This night has been a living hell. I need to get away from here but I am terrified. I keep telling myself that everything is okay but it isn't. I know Nikolai would probably not want to go but I do. Memories are flooding my mind and problems are arising that shouldn't. I am doing what I have to keep myself and others safe. I'm not going to let Carter get away with anything this time. And I mean ANYTHING. I didn't deserve what he did to me tonight...No one deserves that. Well I could name a few people so never mind but still. Just because I want to protect a human? I understand we are supposed to be monsters and everything but I don't want to hurt them. I feed, I have to survive somehow. I'm not going to let someone innocent into this lifestyle"

The moonlight beamed down on him as the waves crashed into each other. What he did tonight wasn't wrong in his book, He did the right thing. If he could get up and leave he would. Raising a group was harder than he thought but he was bringing himself up right. He watched a couple walk right past. Carter watched them feeling somewhat of jealously.

Aksinya threw her pen on the book and huffed. She jumped up and turned on the radio. Downfall by Yeah Whatever silently played and she listened quietly. Her thoughts were racing and she tried to think everything over. Her mind was overwhelmed with everything going on. The past and the present were about to take toll on her and everything around. What was even going on anymore? Carter was somewhere, Nikolai had to be inside and Gabe was probably with him. Aksinya was very worried about Carah because she knew he had to be looking for her. Micah was another subject that worried her completely. Who else is he going to attack until she has to go with him. Love The Way You Lie came on and she listened to Rihanna's voice. Aksinya had never heard the song before but for some reason she felt she connected with every word spoken.

Gabe sat in the Scene tapping his pen on the table. He was stuck on his list he was making. He rubbed his head closing his eyes slowly. Everything was chaotic lately and he was trying to piece everything together. He tried to stay strong throughout it and take over Carter's spot. The tension in the factory was filling the air and everything else in there. It was filled with rage, hurt and despair. He wondered if Carter was going to find Carah and if Aksinya was going to leave. Gabe zipped his blue ADIDAS jacket a little more before leaning back. He glanced around and his eyes laid on one person. Micah.

Micah walked into the scene looking around. His eyes traveled through the whole place looking at each and every person. He looked at his surroundings carefully before turning to the bar. He studied the menu looking it over.

"Mitchell…Michael. Whatever your face is. Come over here"

Micah slowly turned around after hearing a voice calling him. He looked around again before his eyes directed to a booth. Gabe sat quietly taking a drink and his eyes staring at the empty opposite side. Micah grabbed his drink before strolling over to the table.

"My name is Micah, Gabriel. It doesn't really surprise me that you had no idea though"

"Sorry…Like I want to remember your name anyway. Sit, I want to talk to you"

"If you will excuse me, I want to finish this drink then I have a Princess to go capture"

He smirked before moving away. Gabe watched him and shook his head"

"It's for Aksinya…"

Micah stopped in his tracks and paused. He tilted his head to the left before looking behind him. He took a breath before walking back setting his drink on the table. His blue eyes looked Gabe over wondering if this was going to be a set up.

"First things first. You do not try to harm or touch me in anyway. If you do I will snap your neck so fast that no one in here is going to even notice. If any of your friends show up they will suffer the same fate or worse…I have no problem attacking Nikolai myself"

"It is not a revenge kind of thing. I don't do revenge so I won't even try to sneak attack you. All I want to talk about is…"

"I want a tradeoff"

Gabe blinked before taking another drink. He didn't understand himself why he was going to even try to do this. He glanced at his notebook before closing it slowly looking up at Micah. He easily towered over him and it intimidated a lot. Gabe took a breath before motioning to the booth. He took another drink to clear his throat.

"I just…I just want you to leave her alone"

"You want me to leave Aksinya alone?"

Micah grinned at the thought and laughed. This younger vampire was hilarious and he was questioning Gabe's motives. He sighed before sitting down into the booth. He fixed his leather jacket before grabbing the little black straw in his drink swirling it around. Micah squinted his eyes at Gabe who watching him back.

"What are you drinking?"

"I do not think this is humorous. Do not change the subject. I'm not going to leave my fiancée alone if that is what you think I am going to do…White Russian"

He smirked again before Gabe shook his head with a faint laugh

"I actually find that interesting because that is the complete opposite of what I am going to do. You see, you think all of you run this little area but you do not. Vampires cannot own property unless you will count a human as one. I have that gut feeling you all think that I am that evil enemy and I really do not mean harm to any of you"

"The others don't even know I'm doing this. I don't want them hunting you down or anything like that. I won't attack either unless you go after her"

Gabe zipped his jacket down lightly getting a little worried. Micah was 100 years older than him and he already proved the strength he had. He beat him inches to death and he never wants to go through that again. He watched him take a drink calmly before he glanced around. Gabe noticed he had to still be on guard but he appeared cool with everything going on. Micah is the type of guy that won't let anything bother him and will stay calm in any situation. He will attack if he feels threatened in any way just as an animal would. Gabe sat there thinking on why he attacked him. If he has a reason to be provoked, why did he attack him? He never threatened him in anyway, just no invitation in. He continued to think until Micah disturbed his thoughts.

"You know Nikolai will not dare to touch me at all. She is afraid of me and would not risk her brother being in any type of harm. That's something you should know about her. She will risk herself before anyone else, especially family. I've proven to you myself that I am already stronger than you. Carter does not intimidate me one bit and I think it would be nice to square off with him"

"What if I told you something…Something that might change your mind. Then maybe that could be the end of the deal?"

"How am I supposed to know if you are lying or not?"

Gabe ran his head through his gelled up hair for a second. He debated if he was going to say anything or not. There is an after effect for each situation.

"Because I will keep my word on it and I never give up promises. You can trust me"

"I don't know what to even do about everything going on. Part of me wants to go back with Micah because then I will finally go home. I have been dying for years to go back but I really cannot seem to get the guts to go. I know Nik would end up going with me which means I'd be leave Carter and Gabe. I couldn't see myself bringing them along if I went anyway. I know that if I did, Micah and I would be together. He is very hard to even understand and I don't know who he even is. It was all an arranged marriage and I hated him. I never wanted anything to do with him In the back of my mind would be these two relationships I have had. I could never forget Gabe in anyway…Carter at times I wish I could but I can't. He showed me America, A place that was completely foreign to me. So here I am with this decision. Do I leave or do I stay?"

"Why did Carter do that? I will tear him to pieces. He does not touch MY Aksinya"

Micah tapped his fingers against the glass cup. He was beyond furious and didn't want to sit there any longer. His main goal now was to show Carter was wrong for ever touching her. Yes, He had hit and hurt her when they were humans and he believed it was always the right thing to do. The 1800's were a different Micah than what is presented now. He kept his style and speech the same but his attitude has changed completely. He glared at Gabe who looked at him slightly worried.

"Don't go after Carter. I'm as mad as you are but let it go. If you promise to never touch Aksinya again, only if she will want you too. I promise Carter will never lay a finger on him ever again.

"I want to be there to see if he does or not. No deal"

Gabe rubbed his face frustrated. He was not going to accept anything he was throwing out there and that was causing a problem. He knew if he through Carter under the bus that Micah was going to get angry. He had somewhat of an advantage now only if the deal would go through.

"Here is what is going to happen. I will try my best to stay away from Aksinya and I said try so do not hold that against me. You will get Carter to talk to me. Deal?"

"What if he doesn't want too?"

"I think we both know him a little better than that don't you think? But it is for the girl we love…Right?"

He raised an eyebrow at that remark. He didn't even understand anything about him anymore. He was sure he was going to attack him again for even saying anything. Why was Micah going to let him go free without any cost.

"Fine…It is a deal then"

"Good, I am glad that we have finally came to agreement. Until next time Gabriel…I see you do care a great deal about her…At least I know she will have some protection from you"

Gabe opened his mouth to say something before noticing he was gone. He looked around quickly hoping that no one noticed how fast he moved but no did. He slouched back with a sigh of relief thanking God it was over. He just didn't know why he threw his sire under and put him in danger.

"Sometimes I wish I was human. Either in this decade, another or back in my real life. I'm sure any vampire could tell you that is what they want at some point. All of us want that sooner or later. Being a vampire only gives you powers you've never dreamed of. Immortality, strength, speed, power. No human will ever get the chance to have that unless you become one of the undead. That is just what sucks about all of this. One you feed, you turn. There is no way around it unless you don't kill. Resisting blood is like putting a toy in front of a child that cannot move. You want it so bad but there is no way you are going to get it. If you do get it, then you become happy and more alive than you before. I always think where I would have been if I never fed. If I would have known that five days is the max, I would have tried my best to way it out. I wasn't a strong enough person back then anyway, I most likely wouldn't have even made it. I probably would have been ruling Russia with Micah and guiding my little brother as the Queen. Why couldn't things have been different back then? What if I wasn't royalty, would I have been dead? I blame Maverick for everything. All the pain and hurt he has caused me. You know…Sometimes I get jealous of Gabriel. At least he knows his sire and is always around him. Mine…Mine is definitely not one to brag about. I had no direction or sense of what was wrong with me. I hate him for that fact. I don't understand why he left me to go without any word. You always have to be cautious when biting a human or you will end up like me. I always wondered how Star made it in The Lost Boys. How could she resist all that blood lust, everything was so tempting…So jealous"

Aksinya sat on her bed with her head in her palm. She shook her hand and tossed the pen on the diary. She closed it and placed on her desk beside the bed. She glanced at her shirt and saw the spot of blood on her shoulder. Aksinya rubbed in lightly taking her shirt off. Blood soaked her shoulder and shirt and the wound was pretty deep. Carter stabbed her good and it must have been all silver. The wound looked nasty and she had to change. She moved into the bathroom connected to her bedroom and opened a cabinet. She grabbed a wrap and slowly taped it onto her shoulder. Aksinya looked around and grabbed a green tank top off of the shower. She moved back into the room and glanced around. Something was wrong because the room had shifted. Aksinya moved over to the bed slowly before feeling a draft coming from her window. She snapped her head over to the window quickly vamping out. She stepped over slowly before a hand snaked around her mouth.

"Don't fight me. Everything will be okay, don't worry"

Aksinya fought the iron grip that had her. She knew that voice from somewhere but couldn't place a finger on it. She reached her clawed hand to scratch away the hand around her mouth. The person shoved her forward and she growled lowly. No one was going to step into her room and try to get away with what they wanted. She whipped around before freezing. The person smirked noticing how her facial expressions have changed.

"But…Why are you…"

The person punched her in the jaw hard and Aksinya fell back hitting her head on the bed.

Gabe slowly walked into the factory with a semi happy expression. Everything went okay with Micah but he didn't want to face reality. The reality was full of hate and rage that he didn't even want to deal with it anymore. He listened in and he no movement what so ever.

"Anyone home?"

He heard a tap from upstairs signaling that someone was there. Probably Aksinya stayed in her room and the others were taking their time away. Gabe zipped his jacket all the way and tossed it on the couch. He glanced at his body smirking before looking around. He made his way before slowly moving up the stairs. He saw Nikolai sitting against Aksinya's door and blinked. Nikolai turned his head lightly looking at him.

"It was you who tapped?"

He nodded raising an eyebrow. He glanced down at his white button up and fixed a button. He looked bored than ever and wanted to sleep. Gabe had guessed that Nikolai stopped looking for Micah and saw Gabe leave. He decided to wait outside of her door if Carter or anyone came by for her.

"Can I go in? I talked to Micah myself and I wanted to tell her that I got him to stay away. Has everything been going good?"

"You actually got him to agree with you? I will definitely give you credit for that because I never could back in the day. He has to have it his way or else, I give him credit for that also…Yeah. I think she fell asleep or has been writing. I've been listening to that God awful music that she has. Makes me miss my homeland music"

Nikolai smiled before getting to his feet. He stretched lightly before moving away. Gabe shook his head with a laugh moving over to the door.

"I don't know how you are always so tired…I'll never understand it"

Gabe turned the doorknob and walked inside. He looked around hearing the radio but not seeing her anywhere. He moved over to the bathroom looking around confused. He smelt there air and looked around quickly knowing there was blood somewhere.

"Nikolai! Get in here now!"

Nikolai sighed moving away from his door and began walking back. He scratched his neck before stepping inside. He also looked around before seeing Gabe by the bed.

"What in the world are you doing? Where is my sister?"

"That is what I am exactly wondering…How long have you been outside of her door waiting?"

"Well…"

Nikolai paused thinking. He fell asleep at some point and he began to count and remember when he exactly was out there.

"Well I saw you leave then I decided to take your spot at the door. But I know I did fall asleep and some point but it was maybe like 10 minutes"

Gabe sighed heavily and wiped his finger through the little puddle of blood. He face vamped out slightly before licking the blood off.

"It tastes like her blood…"

Nikolai moved over and did the same. He nodded in agreement before moving over to the bathroom. He saw her bloody shirt and picked it up. He rubbed his fingers on the fabric to see exactly when the blood had dried. It was somewhat wet and he moved back out.

"It may be from her shoulder. This shirt is soaked in blood so maybe she was bleeding or something"

"I can't trust you to watch her can I?"

Nikolai blinked and was taken back by that comment.

Carter walked into the Factory satisfied. He rubbed some blood off of his face before licking the little that remained by his mouth. He grabbed the lower part of his shirt rubbing his bloody hands in it. He paused for a moment after hearing talking. He ripped the shirt from his body moving to the kitchen. Carter threw it away before washing the little that remained on himself. It wasn't just a normal kill; it was more of an angry kill. He was hoping to lure Carah out with all the blood but she was nowhere in sight. He began to move over to the stairs before hearing arguing. He moved up quickly not seeing them so he slipped into his room. Carter walked back out moving into Aksinya's while putting a grey shirt on.

"What the hell is going on? I can hear the both of you from a mile away"

"Aksinya is not here…I left to go do something and Nikolai here says he has been outside of her door listening. There is no way she could have walked out the door if he was on guard"

"Do not dare try to pin this on me Gabe! I did nothing wrong here…If she had her radio loud how am I supposed her if something happened?"

Nikolai huffed rubbing his head. He was beyond aggravated. Gabe wasn't going to get away with the blame falling from him. He could have stayed instead of talking to Micah then there wouldn't be a problem. He knew how his sister was with people acting as watch dogs. She hated protection when she was human and if Gabe was watching here, there would have been a fight anyway.

"Hey…Maybe she left. Maybe she decided to leave because she couldn't take it anymore. How should I even know?"

"Carter…You know she wouldn't leave him behind"

"Is that blood?"

Gabe blinked looking over to Nikolai who pointed it out. Carter blinked looking between the both of them before looking down at his pants. Dark spots were everywhere and he smirked.

"Whose blood is that Carter?"

"Why should it even matter? I was hungry so I fed, big deal"

"Is it my sister's blood?"

He shook his head while Gabe stared at them. Why where was Carter anyway? He stormed off and no one has seen him for hours and now a Shadow member is missing. He thought for a second adding it up trying to piece this together.

"So…You leave for a while and come back stained in blood. It could be her blood for all we know and you are being a little secretive right now"

"And how do we know you didn't do anything Gabe? You can easily be jumping on his case because you did it and you want the fingers pointing away from you. Or Nikolai…How do we know that you didn't have something to do with her being gone. Anything ring a bell about Micah? You two were close back then so how do we not know if he took you because you staged it?"

"Pointing the finger at everyone is doing no good Carter…I've been listening"

Carah stood in the door way looking at them. Carter turned around glaring at her while the others looked. She shifted and put her hands in her pockets before looking around the room.

"Standing here is doing no good either so if you all would move"

Gabe stormed past Carah and jogged down the stairs. He didn't even bother putting his jacket back on and went outside. He slammed the door shut before smelling the air. He zipped off in the direction that was calling him. Nikolai blinked looking at the jacket Carah had on.

"When did she give you that? Last time you seen her?"

"About two hours ago…You know, when she sent me away and stuff"

"I'll um…I'll go check around the beach. 15 minutes and meet me back there"

Carah watched Nikolai zip out of the room at an impossible speed. She glanced and Carter before walking out and moving down the stairs. She began thinking of places that were hiding spots around town. He followed behind her and watched as she placed the jacket on the stairs.

"Are you going to search for her?"

"Why wouldn't I? If I didn't, I would have those two on my case. Don't need to hear it from them anymore. And…Once she gets back I'd never hear the end of it"

"You are just doing it to save yourself Carter, You can't fool anyone"

She shook her head before walking out the door. What did Aksinya tell her while they were out? He began to question why she was there and what she was doing. Maybe they planned something together; it wouldn't be the first time Aksinya ran away from her home. He sighed rubbing his head zipping out.

Nikolai kicked the sand and looked around for the others. He kept his eyes down wondering if the others had found her. He prayed that they did because he couldn't lose his only sister. He glanced up and saw Gabe approaching. He held his breath watching him.

"You didn't find anything either?"

"I thought maybe…I looked all over the beach. I went to all the cliffs and rocks and I found nothing. I didn't even get a trace of her blood. Gabe what if she really did leave? Maybe she couldn't handle all that pressure with Micah and with Carter attacking her…"

Gabe looked at Nikolai with sympathy. He has been living under his sisters' shadow for the last 112 years and he didn't want to be alone. If Nik was left alone, He wouldn't have a sense of direction. Gabe couldn't imagine if Carter would leave because of the sire bond. You would have to feel withdrawn and wouldn't know even what to do anymore.

"We'll find her…I promise. Everything will be okay"

"I caught a scent of her blood in town, couldn't exactly figure out where though"

Carter looked at both of them as Carah stood silently next to him.

"What did you stab her with? If the wound isn't healing, you have had to use something more dangerous than plan silver"

"You stabbed her?"

Carah turned her attention toward him raising an eyebrow. She never meant for Aksinya to get hurt or runaway. He ignored her and watched Gabe.

"Why are you both attacking me over this? I did nothing to her so stop jumping on me!"

Carter vamped out slowly glaring at the both of them. He bared his fangs and the others just watched back. Carah rolled her eyes before rubbing her arm then looking at her fingers.

"Um…Guys…Why is there blood on my arm?"

They all focus their attention to her and look closely. Gabe looks up towards the sky and sees nothing but stars. Nikolai furrowed his eyebrows touching her arm lightly as Carter looks around the beach. Carah jumps back and screams looking at the body in front her.

"Aksinya?!"
