'And he threw the USB out the window.' Just a little lahme poem thing showing the way information is so important to our world today and no-one really realizes. I thought I'd start small if I want to be a writer in a few years. I'm not begging for reviews but it'll be appreciated. :

Information

It was as small as my thumb, but it stored my life inside it. I unplugged it from my computer and lay it in front of me on the desk.

He said it wasn't my life's work.

We all store this information like a 16GB USB flash drive. It's not supposed to have so much information, but it does. And it will.

Every day we learn something new that we manage to fit inside our heads in smaller and smaller spaces until we can fit everything everyone has ever known and believe and dreamed about into absolutely nothing.

That 16GB USB Flash Drive will be thin air.

And that hard drive in your computer will too.

Our minds will process on nothing and understand everything. We'll think of words and it will slip inside, not throughout ears or eyes, but right through our skin and we will breathe information.

Soon enough our knowing will as deep as it is wide and our work is done to learn, we will be so full of knowledge, that the only thing left to do is to unlearn.

Humanity will let go, and soon the old man who lives next door to you will understand the point of reality and will decided were his last breath will be. He will enjoy that last breath as if he hasn't took one in his whole life.

And he takes it next to his wife. He never owned a USB or a computer. He just owned a television.

And the guy who you sat next to on the bus just lost his History essay because that hard drive went faulty.

And your sister screamed when her laptop battery ran out.

And my life's work is more than that USB.

My life's work is the impact that this has, and he took the USB off me, and threw it out the window...because life isn't just information.

This was partially based on a YouTube video that I really can't remember the name of but remembered a lot of the words because I loved it so much, so if anyone finds some viral YouTube video similar to this, please let me know so I can give credit!
