There's a ringing in my ears
No matter what I do,
it won't disapear
There's a ringing in my ears
It's the only thing I can hear
No other voice will reach
And I'm shocked that when
I wake up the next morning
It's still there
I scream, I yell
Sometimes I even beg
And yet, I'm unable to hear
I laugh, I sigh
Sometimes I even cry
And yet, I'm unable to hear
I love, I feel
Sometimes I even pray
And yet, I'm unable to hear
There's a ringing in my ears
Begging me to please notice
These feelings hidden dear
There's a ringing in my ears
Begging me to please wake up
Or I'll stay an empty shell
That if I continue to close my eyes
The world will always be black and white
And nothing will ever change
There's a ringing in my ears
And yet, I don't understand
Why am I still unable to hear?
