There I was, walking through the snow
Living life,
The way things go
Then I spot a guy.
Who? I don't know.
Except, when I saw him
My heart seemed to glow.
But, when he looked over at me,
I hung my head low.
He comes over to me.
Confidence in his step,
He seemed tall and carefree.
When I looked into his eyes
It was then that I could see
That this man and I
Were always meant to be.
There was joy in my heart
When I spoke to the stranger
About the ways of life and art.
No matter how cliché it is,
I knew from the start
That we would be together
Till death makes us part.
