I wish I could put into words how much you mean to me

How beautiful you are

How lovely

But you wouldn't believe me anyway

You never do

You have no idea how hard I try

To show you

To tell you

To make you see

That I'm not lying when I say

That you're the most beautiful thing

On this earth

The most precious thing in my humble bit of universe

But you won't listen

Do you even care?

You couldn't possibly be "scared"

That makes no sense

You said you love me

Remember?

Did you lie?

Was it for my sake?

I'd hate to hear that that's the case

But if it is

I'd rather put away this charade
