Prologue: The Beginning Of My Story

Ring, Ring, Ring

The sound of the alarm that she set up yesterday wakes her up from her dream.

"Umm…"she mumbles while shutting the alarm. She opens her eyes and stands from her bed, stretching her arms and walks towards the window, open the blue Sakura pattern's curtain. She can feel the warmness of the sun as she opens it. All of the little bird flies toward their behalf, finding some branches to make a nest for their future generation. The Cherry blossoms petals flow to her bluish black hair that is still disarray. She inhales the fresh spring air with a smile that form from her small reddish lip.

"What a good weather we have today." She talks to herself and then her eyes look at the clock that stuck at the wall.

"Uh, still too early." she mumbles to herself after she sees the clock that point to six o'clock in the morning. She manages her bed neatly, after this she walks to the toilet and wash her face and her body.

Today is the welcoming ceremony of the school she is going to attend, The Aono Academy, so she is going to wear the winter uniform that she hang up recently. A white shirt with a blue strip patterns ribbon tie at the collar, a blue plaid patterns skirt that she modifies it shorter from the actual rule, and last the sky blue blazer. After she finished dress up herself, she takes care of her hair and takes a look at her hairstyle. She tied it into pigtails with blue ribbon that might suit the uniform. And then she take a non-minus black frame glasses and use it.

After she confirms her appearance, her small lip curl into a smile and suddenly her index finger point at the mirror and start talk to herself.
"Fujisaki Hiyoki! Don't believe on others! Don't depend on others! And don't dare to fall in love to someone!"

She walks out the toilet and turn off the light. She walks to the wardrobe and take out one pair of white stocking, then she use it. After finish all of the stuff she need, she take her bag and walk out from her room. She goes down to the first floor of her house and goes to the kitchen to prepare some food for her tummy. She checks the refrigerator to find some leftover food, but there is nothing except the ingredients. Her face give a disappoint expression.

"Hmm… Alright, then I will cook this time." She closes the refrigerator door and walks to a book self that is place next to the refrigerator.

"What~ can~ I~ eat~ this~ mor-ning~?" She says in a sing song, yet monotone. She then picks up a book about pancakes and waffles. After about 1 minute, she decides to eat honey pancake as breakfast and prepare the ingredients she needs and puts them on the dining table, starts to makes the dough. After she finishes it, she takes out a non-stick surface's pan and heats it. After she feels a little warm from the surface of the pan, she lubricates the surface with some butter and pours the dough on it. She waits for a while and flips it with the ladle. She repeats it until the two faces turn to light brown, lift it and put it at the plate. She repeats this until all of the dough has run out. She takes three of them and put it on the other plate, put some honey and serves it.

"Wow… I have made plenty of it. How can I eat this myself? Maybe I can give it to Mayu-chan, Nao-chan … and Natsume-senpai too. But still, I cannot eat this all by myself. Maybe make a small pack for their family too." She talks to herself while sweat dropping, looking at the leftovers pancakes.

She counts the leftovers pancakes.

One... Two... Three... Four…

'Thirty seven… Hah… So this time I make a total forty pancakes huh?' She speaks in her own mind, sweat drop, and think about how she can divide it for them.

'… … … well, just put them in.' She takes three boxes to packs them and put them in a plastic bag.

"Oh. Shiro~"
"Arf!"

The little snowy white husky bark and come to its owner. Hiyoki took out the husky's food from a small cabinet, opened it and put it in the black bowl next to the cabinet. The husky run quickly towards its bowl and eat the food. Hiyoki just smile at the husky because of its adorable manner. She looks up to the clock and prepares to go to school even though it is still 6.35 a.m. She walks to the shoes cabinet and takes out her shoes and wears it.

"Arf!" The husky walks towards its owner and sit near her.

"Shiro, please watch the house while I am off, can you?" She pats the husky and receives a bark. She stands and takes the bag and a plastic bag with her, walks towards the front door and opens it.

"I am off." She closes the door and lock it with the key, then she walks towards and opens the mail box, takes out a letter.

"Huh? What is this?" She rips the letter and takes out its content, a card and a hairclip. She read the card.

She stays in speechless and at last use the free hairclip with a cross design at her bangs, walks out the gate and starts to walks towards the direction to her school.

'What a weird reward, but I expect for the 1st place though.'
