The little girl is staring at me
If she wasn't wearing a dress
I'd have thought her a boy
Her pet duck is about to peck her eyes out
Her eyes are amber
The amber eyes of a pet duck's most glorious dream
I am not a duck, but I too am taken by them
They speak to a part of me that makes me warm and fuzzy inside
And also the part of me that feeds my animal instincts
So that I'm in warm, fuzzy, hungry, hypnotized duck mode
"Quack!" I now understand that marvelous phrase
Splurt. Squelch. Quack.
Girl's eyes are in duck's stomach.
It is beautiful.
What else am I hungry for?
Some cherry lips
And a bogey bon bon
I think I'll just order duck
