Chapter One
Part 1
It had been a good day. After all Justin had gotten a raise at work. Not to mention a 6 figure bonus. He loved working where he did. He was hired muscle. It was his job to keep some of the senior members of a law firm safe. Thanks to that lovely bonus, the final payment on the house, or rather mansion, he owned had gone though smoothly.
The sun was out and it was warm. He walked home contented. All was well. The flowers had bloomed and the birds were singing giving the atmosphere a generally bright and bubbly mood. He had headed home to his husbands with a grin on his face. He couldn't wait to see them all to tell them the big news.
Yes, you read right, husbands.
He had four husbands. Each very special to him and very unique in there own way. The country in which they lived had few laws when it came to marriage. Even more so when it came down to the whole supernatural-human relationship thing. There were rules, sure. But they were mostly that the 'head' of the family was able to provide for all of his husbands and wives. Though all of his husbands had there own jobs, he was the big earner. Justin was without a doubt the head of his family. He made the rules of the house. Set the punishments and enforced them.
He was strict and firm with the rules and even more so with the punishments, but he was not abusive. A lot of humans made that mistake about demon houses. The fact was the rules were there for a reason. To get the family together and in relative harmony. The main one, he was about to discover, had been broken.
All feeling of cheer and happiness drained away as he walked into his house to find a fight. Quickly replaced by a familiar rage. Pushing the feeling down, noticing none had noticed his arrival, he watched. Trying to work out what had happened to disturb the peace and who was to blame. It wasn't hard to work out.
There was a lot of shouting. Especially from the the smallest two of his house. Kieran, the smallest, who had a mop of fiery red hair and a temper to match, and Rocco, who was half Hispanic and was usually the calmest of them all. Both were wearing expressions of anger and yelling insults for all they were worth. They looked about ready to rip each other apart. The only reason the two yelling at each weren't trying to tear each other apart was because his other two husbands were holding them back from each other. Marcus was struggling as Kieran flailed in an attempt to get free.
"You're a fucking cheating whore" Kieran yelled. The words catching Justin's attention, as well as the tears which were swelling up in Kieran's green eyes. He was really upset with Rocco. Neither Jonathan or Marcus looked happy, either. Both looked angry and upset, but either wanted to see Kieran and the fourth, Rocco fight.
'Cheating'... Rocco had cheated on them? Justin narrowed his eyes, betrayal swelling in him. Another thing. Just because someone was a polygamist did not mean they couldn't cheat. The way the marriage worked was that they became exclusive to the others in the marriage. If another person caught there eye, they had to have permission of the rest of the family members before doing anything. Or at least the head.
Something Rocco defiantly hadn't done.
Rocco yelled something back in his own defence, but Justin barely noticed of it. Something else catching his attention. A man was in the corner of the hall. Only a few feet away from him looking a little bloody and beaten up. Smelling strongly of Rocco.
From his position it looked like he had been trying to edge away from the others to escape. but Justin had come in blocking the only exit. He was currently staring at Justin, who looked him over like a piece of meat. He was human. He was also young, and looking very scared.
Closing his eyes Justin let the rage rise within. The final pieces falling into place.
"Silence!" Roared Justin.
Both Rocco and Kieran shut up. The room falling into a tense silence, every eye on him. Fear flashing though Rocco's eyes. He knew he was in deep shit now
A whimper from the stranger seemed to snap everyone from a frozen state. Jonathan and Marcus let go of them, knowing they would not dare fight in Justin's presence. Jonathan, not so subtly, moving away from Rocco. It was clear from the expression on his face he didn't want to be near him at the moment. Justin glared at them all individually, making sure they were sufficiently cowed before making a point of looking at the stranger.
The man, or maybe boy, was human and looked young. Like possibly still in school young. Which only made the injuries covering him look worse. All looked like they were from Kieran. Claw marks all over him, slashing his clothes open in some places. He had dyed blue hair and matching blue eyes, which were wide with terror. He was terrified at the moment. In many ways, he reminded Justin of a dear in headlights.
Looking away from the stranger, he looked back at his husbands. All at them as a whole before indiuvually. Kieran was glaring daggers at Rocco while Jonathan and Marcus were both looking at the floor. Though every now and again Marcus's eyes flashed up to look at him. His muscles tense, likely ready to jump to the strangers defence in case he went into one of his rages.
Not that he needed too. He wouldn't harm such a young human. Even if the filth had been sleeping with one of his husbands. Part of Justin's mind hissed at himself for referring to the stranger like that. There was more to this then what first met the eye.
Rocco too, was carefully watching him but he was more openly. His hands clenched into fists by his side. But as Justin's eyes fell on him, he looked to the floor. A light blush covering his face. Justin would feel a mix of emotions coming him. Angry, guilt and helplessness.
"Is he even legal?" Justin asked. First things first. Will the law get involved if this was found out about. Rocco nodded, but smartly didn't say anything. "I trust you have a good explanation for this" Justin said, his voice a low hiss. Full of danger and warning that Rocco dare not lie. Rocco looked at him but bit his lip. Justin closed his eyes and mentally counted to ten in his head. Just perfect..
"Jonathan please escort Rocco to the cage" Justin said calmly, not missing the way Rocco flinched at the order. Jonathan nodded and gave Rocco a look which dared him to fight back. The cage was simply a cell in the basement. Why they had one wasn't important at the moment. Diffusing this situation was. "Marcus please take Kieran to his room"
The stranger only whimpered as he ordered Jonathan to take Rocco away. Justin watched in the corner of his eye as the stranger began moving towards the door, no doubt hoping to make an escape. Justin turned and glared at him fiercely, pinning him to the spot.
"Do not move from that spot" He ordered, enough power and dominance in his tone to make even a power senseless human behave.
The stranger froze and nodded. Justin turned to see Kieran stomping up the stairs, not bothering to wait for Marcus, simply storming off to his room on his own. Marcus sighed tiredly but followed. Not before giving the stranger an odd look. Lust flashed in his eyes, but was gone just as quickly. Some people could control there powers. Marcus was one of them, but it gave Justin a indication of how Marcus felt about someone. Marcus was good at sensing how people were. Which was why he was the best one to calm Kieran down.
Kieran was really hurt bad by this. Sure they were all married to each other, but Kieran and Rocco came into the family together. Kieran fallen for Justin and had brought dragged Rocco with him, not wanting to give up his mate. He had been the one to persuaded Rocco to take the vows to get married to all of them, instead of staying exclusive to Kieran. They were still very close, sharing the same bed most nights and to outsiders they were very much a 'couple'. Or had been. Now Rocco had cheated, no doubt they were going to be on rocky ground.
"Justin please..." Rocco said, his tone begging as Jonathan pulled him towards the stairs to the basement. He wasn't fighting but he was looking at Justin with his big eyes
"I won't hurt him Rocco" Justin said calmly, know what Rocco's fear was. Rocco no doubt wanted more, but he wasn't getting any more reassurance then that, "He's not leaving this house, but i won't hurt him"
Justin watched as Rocco was dragged away before turning back to the stranger. He loomed over the injured boy, the stranger trembling in fear. He had remained still, but was looking desperately at the door like he wanted to bolt. Justin decided not to take the risk. Bending over, he swept the stranger up. He was small and light. Too light, Justin mused, they were going have to fatten him up if they kept him.
The stranger yelled and struggled lightly, but Justin's grip on him was firm and unbreakable. Holding him close, Justin went straight to his own room. He dropped the man on his bed.
The second he landed on the soft material, he rolled off it and went to dart for the door. But Justin was quicker, grabbing his wrist and dragging him back to the bed. Pinning him to the headboard, Justin growled in his ear. "Stay still"
"Fuck off!" yelled the stranger, struggling against him. Justin growled warningly. He would have struck the boy if he had been any older, but he could also smell the fear rolling off him. He could also hear the boy's voice wavering, like he was about to cry, "Please just let me go home" He sobbed.
"No. If Rocco's been sleeping with you, you're now ours and until you know the rules you are not going anywhere" Justin said calmly into the boys ear. The stranger still struggled but Justin simply held him to the headboard, until the stranger wore himself out. Slowly the boy went limp, the only movement from him was shuddering, as he sobbed lightly.
Justin let go of the boy after this and let him curl into a ball on the bed. Stroking a hand though the boy's hair, he moved off the bed to the chest at the foot of the bed. He kept his more kinky toys in there. As well as his restraints. Grabbing a collar and some chains he moved back to the boy.
"Come on" Justin said gently, shaking the boy. The boy looked at the restraints and curled up tighter.
"Please" begged the boy.
Justin shook his head as he hooked the chain though a loop on the wall which he for the purpose of tying up his husbands when they were feeling kinky. He attached the chain to the collar like a leash, locking it with a key. "Come here" Justin asked one last time. The boy didn't move but didn't fight as Justin gently pulled him over so the boy was between his legs, back to his chest and fastened the collar to his neck.
"What's your name kid" Justin asked, wrapping his arms around the human, trying to be comforting. It was hard. He wasn't really a cuddling type and his only real dealings with humans now consisted of punching them or throwing them out of the building. So he decided to follow his instincts and treat him like he would Kieran after a nightmare. Which no doubt the boy would be feeling at the moment.
"Caspar" Whimpered the boy.
"Okay. Caspar, I am sorry about all this, but its necessary. I need to ask you some questions about you and Rocco" Justin explained in a calm voice, nuzzling Caspars hair slightly. Getting a good scent of him in case he tried to run away. Caspar shuddered, not saying or doing anything. Now for the awkward bit. Finding out how long Rocco had been cheating on them and working out just what he should do about Caspar. After all what he had told the boy was true. Legally if one of the family was sleeping with someone, that person became almost part of the family. Even more so if they were human. They now technically owned him.
