Lionesscouer: Thank you so much! Um, yeah that was completely an accident. I forgot I had said they were dead. I went back and fixed the mistake though, so thank you for letting me know! I hope you continue to read!

RJcity: Because I love getting reactions like yours to whatever is happening in my story. :)

Bookppl93: Yay! I'm so happy I made you cry! Wow, I love your enthusiasm…or anger…either way, I love it!

Nitewrite8: At least you get to read the sequel right? I know the first one was kind of short, but I knew I couldn't drag it on much longer without either boring myself to death or boring my readers to death.

Moonlttiger: Lol. I'm sorry for making you sad even though I live for that kind of stuff! I hope you enjoy the sequel as much as I'm planning to!

Jnl94: Wow, someone's a little attached ha-ha. Haven't you learned that I sort of enjoy killing everyone's favorite character?

The sun shone brightly down on the castle belonging to Dorian Torres. It was as if nothing had happened. The grass was green and the castle looked perfect. Inside the castle, way at the bottom in the basement, Luciana lay unconscious still on the floor of her new cell.

My head hurts. I feel like I've been hit by a truck. Where am I? Luciana's thoughts floated through her head as she attempted to come awake and survey her new found predicament. In the cell directly next to her, sat Kira. She was nine and very scared. She wasn't only scared for herself, but for the new prisoner next to her. She had been out for a long time since she had been dragged in here.

Kira had been stuck in here for almost a week and she was starting to get stir crazy. Whoever had captured her hadn't done anything to her. She had just been sitting here doing nothing. The only interaction she got was when they brought her food. Kira stuck her small arm through the bars to the unconscious girl's cell and poked her shoulder.

"Hey. Are you okay?" she whispered to the girl. Luciana groaned, aware that someone was trying to stir her from her slumber. She moved slightly, trying to force herself to lift her head. When she was successful at last, she glanced up to see a worried pair of blue eyes looking at her though rusty metal bars.

"Are you okay?" Kira asked again. Luciana surveyed herself and ascertained that there was nothing broken. She was having a hard time remembering how exactly she had gotten here.

"I-I think so. I just have a major headache." Luciana murmured. She rubbed the top of her head and sighed. There was a huge lump protruding from her skull. She tried to recall everything that had happened and it seemed to come back to her all at once. Luciana and Morgan had been trying to take down her father and save Kira. Morgan was dead. Luciana remembered attempting to take on the demons herself, knowing it would do no good because there were too many for her to take on alone. She vaguely remembered being captured and everything went black after that.

Judging by the lump on her head, she guessed that they had knocked her out with some blunt object. She sighed and looked at the little girl in the cell next door. She had dark hair like her father and blue eyes like her mother. Kira.

"Oh my god, Kira are you okay?" Luciana asked when recognition hit. Kira narrowed her blue eyes in suspicion.

"How do you know my name? Who are you?" Kira demanded, unsure of how it was possible for a stranger she had never seen before to know exactly who she was.

"My name is Luciana. I was hired to come and rescue you." Luciana explained. Kira raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, you're doing a great job with that so far." She said sarcastically.

"I would have been successful except my partner, Morgan, died before we could get to you." Luciana said, looking down at the concrete floor beneath her.

"I'm sorry." Kira said apologetically. Luciana looked at the girl and smiled. Thought they were only half blood related, Kira acted a little like Luciana. She was willing to bet it drove their mother crazy.

"So…how long have I been out?" Luciana wondered. She glanced around her surroundings in disgust. They were in a beautiful castle, but the basement in which they were held was absolutely atrocious. It was dark and dank. There were several cells like hers lined up which make Luciana nervous. Each cell had a cot in the far corner, a toilet and a sink. It was a lot like a jail cell. Of course, there was nothing that would be suitable to use as a weapon.

"I'm not sure. They brought you in here last night. You have been out since whenever that was. Obviously I don't know what time it is." Kira sighed, looking around as if to double check that theory.

"Dammit." Luciana mumbled. Kira looked at her sharply. "I meant to say dang it." She amended to appease the little girl. She was trying to figure out a way to tell Kira who she really was. Luciana wasn't sure how she would take the news.

"So…I um, have something to tell you." Luciana began. Kira looked up curiously.

"What could you possibly have to tell me?" she asked quietly.

"Well, when I was assigned to this case, I found out that you and I…um…we're half-sisters." Luciana said slowly, afraid of Kira's reaction. Regardless of the fact that Luciana and her mother hated each other, she wanted Kira to like her. Luciana wanted to be a part of her life when this was all over.

"Who told you that?" Kira demanded, clearly surprised by the news.

"Well, no one had to tell me. I figured it out because your mom is my mom too." Luciana explained, hoping Kira was advanced enough in her schooling to understand such a concept. She seemed to think about it for a minute.

"So we have the same mom, but different dads?" she concluded. Luciana nodded.

"That's right." She told her with a smile. Kira stared at Luciana as if she were concentrating very hard on something.

"If that's true, then how come I've never seen or heard of you before?" Kira asked. Luciana was impressed that she was intelligent enough to get all this.

"Well, I don't get along with our mom. I moved out long before you were born and when you were born, Mom never told me about you. I only just found out we were half-sisters a few days ago." Luciana explained. Kira nodded.

"Well when we get out of here, can we start spending time together?" Kira asked hopefully. She seemed to be excited to have a new big sister. Luciana couldn't understand why that made her nervous.

"I would love that." Luciana smiled.

"Okay, so how are we going to get out of here?" Kira asked. Luciana stood and looked around. She began pacing her cell slowly, trying to concoct a foolproof plan that would save the both of them. There was no way in hell she was dying in here. She would figure out a way to get out with both of their lives intact. Luciana would make damn sure of that.

"I'm not sure yet. Does anyone ever come down here?" Luciana wondered, figuring Kira would know better than her.

"Yeah, they come down a couple time a day to feed me and I assume they will start feeding you too. It seems mean of them not to." Kira shrugged. Luciana nodded.

"Have they hurt you at all?" she asked, finding herself feeling angry at the thought.

"No not yet. I've just been sitting here forever. I haven't met the guy behind it all. It's just his guys that come down here to make sure I'm okay and stuff." Kira explained.

"Well I think we need to meet Dorian Torres." Luciana practically growled.

"Why? Do you know him?" Kira asked in confusion to Luciana's sudden mood change.

"Not really. He's my father." Luciana practically whispered.

"He's what?!" Kira snapped. Luciana shushed her quickly.

"Yes, he's my dad, but I've never met him. He wasn't ever part of my life and I was ordered to…capture him." Luciana explained.

"Why?"

"Because he's a bad man. He's a demon and he's planning on turning his captives into demons as well, but as you can see, we're the only ones he has so far. My guess is he's going to be bringing in more people now that I'm out of his way." Luciana muttered.

"Wait a minute. If he's a demon, doesn't that make you one too?" Kira asked, suddenly nervous. Luciana sighed.

"Yes I am a demon too, but I'm one of the good guys. It's my job to make sure the bad demons get taken out of society and Dorian was my next case. Obviously it didn't go so well which is why I'm stuck here in this gross cell instead of at home spending the money I made from his capture." Luciana explained bitterly.

"So do you have like…powers?" Kira asked hesitantly.

"Kind of. I'm really fast and I'm good at balancing and I have claws." Luciana said slowly, unsure of how Kira would react. She decided to leave the fact that she was basically a demon assassin out of the equation. She didn't want to scare her. Kira just nodded and let the subject drop. Luciana had the feeling that her questions were far from over.

Luciana sighed and plopped down on her cot. It wasn't comfortable at all and she was not looking forward to sleeping on the thing. She was starting to think she would be better off sleeping on the floor when she heard the sound of a nearby door being opened. She stood and held her breath prepared for anything they had for her. Luciana sure as hell wasn't going down without a fight.
