Halfway Paranoid: Actually, I have very little of this story planned out in my head. I'm literally making everything up as I go along. Maybe that's why it's so easy to post two chapters in one day. I guess that was a spelling error my dumb spell check didn't catch lol. I'm glad you like my twists, but there is a big giant twist that is still to come! Obviously I can't tell you what it is, but maybe that will intrigue you a little bit...

jnl94: Can things get any worse? What kind of stupid question is that?! Of course things can get worse! I'm counting on that.

Her head hurt. Luciana felt numb everywhere and she couldn't remember what had happened. Her green eyes opened slowly and she took in her surroundings. She was no longer in her cell. Now her room was just that. It was a room. There was a large and comfortable looking bed in the center of the room flanked on either side with a night stand with lamps atop both of them. Luciana had been laid on a rocking chair across from the bed. There was a dresser in the back corner beside the closet and there was a large window overlooking the edge of the giant hill she had climbed a few days ago. At least, she thought it was a few days ago.

Luciana got the sense that she had been drugged heavily. She thought hard until her head hurt more. But she remembered. She had been about to tell her sister and the other prisoners goodbye after Dorian handcuffed her. She had planned on going quietly, so she didn't make things worse for them. It was all blank after that. She recalled a sharp pain in her arm, so she put two and two together and figured it out. That bastard drugged her into compliance.

She stood up slowly and paced her new room. She didn't like this one bit. Luciana walked to the window and looked out at her surroundings. The window was locked from the outside, making it so she wouldn't be able to escape that way. There was a door next to the closet that she walked through. It led to a bathroom that had no windows.

Walking back to her room, Luciana noticed something was wrong. She felt wrong. She stretched her arms out in front of her and then ran in place for a minute. She did a few jumping jacks. After the jumping jacks, she did a cart-wheel. Just as her feet were about to land on the floor gracefully, her ankle twisted and sent her sailing to the ground harshly. She cried out more from surprise than pain. She sat on the floor in complete confusion.

"That's weird. That has never happened to me before." she spoke aloud to the empty room. Usually she was so poised and perfect with her balance. This had her wondering what exactly Dorian had done to her. She decided to test something. Carefully, she held her hand out in front of her and tried to extract her claws. Nothing happened. Usually, they would come out with no problem. Luciana didn't even have to really think about it. This time, she thought about it, staring her hand down with a focused expression. Still nothing.

Luciana stared in disbelief at her completely human hand. She couldn't use her demon abilities. Her balance and agility was gone and her claws were gone. She jumped up off the floor and ran around the room as fast as her feet would carry her. She ran at a completely normal human pace. That wasn't right. She could run circles around humans faster than the fastest track star. Lucian ran into the bathroom and stood before the mirror ignoring her hideous appearance. She focused all her energy on changing into her complete demon form. Nothing.

Her cat ears didn't appear, her tail didn't come out and her eyes didn't glow her normal purple. They just stayed their normal human emerald-green. Luciana sighed sharply. She was pissed off now. She tore out of the bathroom and ripped her bedroom door open, completely startling the guard that stood there. She stopped short, taking the man in. He wasn't extremely tall, but he had enough muscle to support two men with tattoos everywhere and sharp red eyes. He was a demon. Her father had done something to her and then left a goddamn demon in front of her door.

"Who the hell are you?" Luciana demanded crossing her arms. The demon appraised her. It was obviously the first time her had seen the person in which he was supposed to be guarding.

"I am Benson." he said simply. "You must be Luciana."

"Damn right I am. Where the hell is my goddamn piece of shit good for nothing father?" she spat sharply. Benson looked confused.

"Are you referring to Mr. Torres?" Benson inquired.

"That's exactly who I'm referring to. Where. Is. He." she growled. She didn't seem to be intimidating this hunk of meat one bit. She knew she wasn't and she couldn't blame him for being undisturbed by her since she couldn't do a damn thing to him in her current state.

"I believe he's downstairs having breakfast. Should I take you to him?" he asked. Luciana stopped short.

"Yes, but can I ask you something?" she asked, raising an eyebrow at him.

"Of course." he answered.

"What exactly is your job?" she wondered.

"To protect you and to make sure you're not causing any trouble." Benson answered like a true soldier.

"That's what I was afraid of." she muttered. "Alright, take me to your leader." Luciana said cynically. Benson nodded and grabbed her in a lightning fast motion. Luciana was so surprised that she didn't know what was happening until she was drapped over Benson's shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

"What the hell do you think you're doing? Put me down you dumb ass piece of shit!" Luciana shrieked. She began pounding and kicking him, but it was having no effect on Benson at all. That didn't stop her from screaming and kicking some more. Benson simply carried her down a flight of stairs and into a large dining room. Dorin sat at the end of the table eating his breakfast that was fit for a king. He looked up when Benson brought in a screaming Luciana over his shoulder. Dorian smiled.

"You may put her down." Dorian instructed Benson. The demon nodded and gently set Luciana down on her feet. The second her feet contacted the floor, Luciana launched herself at Benson without warning. He was so surprised that he actually fell over, giving Luciana an opportunity.

"You piece of shit, no good jack ass of a demon asshole!" she shouted while pounding on him with her fists. Benson just looked at her like she was a harmless fly instead of an enraged female. He sat up, taking her with him and holding her back. Somehow, they ended up on their feet again and Luciana was restrained by Benson. She continued to growl at him menacingly.

"Luciana my dear, what brings you out here this fine morning?" Dorin asked.

"I want to know what the hell you did to me and I want to know now." Luciana hissed.
