An old woman lay on her bed breathing her last breathes while her daughter sat besides her holding her hand.

"Karee, I have one last prophecy that you must record." She said softly to her daughter. Her daughter swiftly got a quill, parchment and ink. The old women took a deep breath and began to speak:

The drakes of fire and midnight shall lay the egg of black and gold

Love and steel shall bare the babe

Together they will be much to behold

And together they must face much

In order to restore peace and kindness to the world and such

But the bond of love will be their hold

And with those last words she left the world knowing that she had played her part. The daughter Karee memorized it by heart and told her daughter as well. For three thousand years no such human or dragon fit the description… until now.
