Act 1
Scene 1
In a dim room, a man sits in an office chair, angrily pounding on his computer's keyboard. His breath is raspy and uncontrolled, and he can't seem to fix his eyes upon the screen. All he hears is the constant beep of a heart monitor which keeps rattling his imagination. The sweat on his brow begins to accumulate.
Narrator: My name is Eric.
The man continues to pound away on the keyboard. His head is down; sweat moisturizing his hair, his eyes are now only focused on the keyboard.
Narrator: Nobody can prepare you for life. Only you can make sure that you do it right. But most people never think about the things…the things that can throw you off of your course.
The man pauses to read what he has typed, a blur to the audience. He becomes frustrated and runs his hands through his long, unkempt hair, and sighs. He continues to type, now at a much slower pace.
Narrator: At some point, you're going to have to make a decision.
He stops typing completely and leans over, resting his face in his hands, and breathing softly. He reaches over and pushes the period on the keyboard.
Narrator: I wish it didn't have to be this way.
The man closes his eyes and a single tear escapes his eyelid, and it strikes the floor, creating a perfect circle.

This is all I have right now. This is my first time attempting to write a movie script, so please give me ANY kind of criticism. Thank you!
