Prologue

A long time ago, the world was populated by humans, demons, and two sets of gods: the New Gods, who were kind and beneficial, and the Old Gods: who were cruel and violent.

The Old Gods believed that humans were created for their amusement and allowed them to suffer and tortured them by allowing demons to torment them.

The New Gods believed that the Old Gods and demons needed to go so the humans could live in peace. So they found the greatest human warrior they could. They picked someone with a great deal of battle experience and gave him great and extreme power. A power known as Apocalypse. The power to destroy even the gods themselves. They did not take into account that battle had made him cold and made him love the art of war.

The warrior was approached by the Old Gods and told him that if he were to destroy them, there would be no more war. They asked him to join them and he could savor battle for all eternity.

The 3 Demon Kings also approached the warrior and offered to help him destroy all the gods and the humans. The gods just wanted the battle for their amusement and the humans were a plague corrupting the world.

The warrior accepted the demons offer and wiped out all of the Old Gods. He then started slaughtering humans with the demons.

The New Gods ashamed at what they had done, cause once a human is infused with the power of Apocalypse, it cannot be removed. They could not wait for his natural death, as by that time all the gods and humans would be dead and the demons would spread across the universe.

So they sealed the warrior away in a magical barrier along with the 3 Demon Kings and all of their demons in an outer barrier. The inner barrier surrounding the warrior could only be broken when the 7 Apocalypse seals were found and destroyed. Then the warrior would be free to finish what he began, the extinction of all life but the demons.

And so the humans were saved and as time went on, they acknowledged the New Gods less and less until they became a fairy tale. Now the outer barrier has weakened and the demons have escaped and they search for the Apocalypse Seals. Their mission is to find them and destroy them. Then the Apocalypse begins….
