Buddy-deprived? Yup. That was exactly how I felt when I wrote this. Fortunately, that was a while back. But every now and then, I wish my friends were with me right then and there. Too bad things don't work like that...

I knew that if I tried, I could last a little longer.

A little longer without you.

I talked to you all the time since school let out.

A time that has stretched too long.

I went to places, to get my mind off of things.

A mind, lost in it's own world.

I see you are going places too, having fun.

I forgot that you had another life outside of school.

I lay in bed, wondering things that shouldn't even be a topic.

I go around, seeing people with friends, happy and smiling.

I forgot how that felt.
