What's inside each of us?

Does anybody know?

Do you know the secrets

That I've always hid inside?

In my death

Will my soul be released?

My secrets shared

Set free from my body

Set free from my mind

Will you be able to see

My life sketched on my face?

What words will be told

On my tombstone

For everyone to see?

Will they represent

The true me?

What beauty will happen

In the place that I'm buried?

Will nature try to run wild

Like my spirit?

And will it be forever tamed

By those that pass me by?

In my death

Will my words me heard?

My poems read?

My habits taken up by others?

Or like many good things

Many magical and beautiful things

Will my memories be forgotten

In the ever turning pages of life?
