You are staring at me. No, no peering. You're glaring at me; just let me work. I am under pressure and not sure how much more of this I can take. The clock ticks whilst children bang on the desk. WILL YOU JUST MAKE IT STOP!

There's a tap,
Then another and another
Once more the tap
Then it stops
I breathe a sigh of relief
There's a click
Then another and another
One more click,
And then the clicking stops
A man short and stumpy,
Glares down
My head lowers
And the questions come into view
Then there's a rap
The constants rapping
Of a stumpy man
Walking through the hall
Soul meeting the ground
A pearl of sweat drops from my forehead
Smudging my answers
Unreadable to the machine which it enters
I panic
Turn left and right,
Before my ears hear something
Tick, tock, tick
My head shoots up
Tick tock tick once again
"Your time is up!"
And my exam is no more
Chatter erupts
Chairs screech
And I'm sat there
Motionless
