Prologue

The more I ran and ran I could not escape these dark woods, it seemed endless. I don't know who or what I am running from, or even why. Suddenly, two pathways appear in front of me. I come to a halt frozen stiff on the spot, realizing the two pathways are completely different. On the left pathway it felt so calm and warm full of light, it was heaven. But, the right pathway felt uneasy and frightening full of darkness, it was hell. I didn't understand the situation. Was I supposed to choose a pathway? "Aria.", a voice behind me says. I turn around, a dark figure stood behind me, extending his hand out towards me, waiting patiently to grab a hold of. Do I choose one of the pathways or take this dark figure's hand? I slowly extend my hand to him; I could not stop myself it was like something came over me. Then all went dark.
