A/N: OK, so like... this is my first time posting up a story online. I'm not really sure what to say... but hopefully you enjoy. I also had fun writing the story. And believe me, I have written up to chapter 11 for now. I'll be updating pretty soon enough, so that I don't leave you hanging. Ahah, i have to warn you though. It starts up pretty slow at first, but don't stop. It gets better, trust me.
Narrator: The story is set up in the modern days of these generation. The world of Mafia is still existing, however, it worked under the shadows. Doing whatever and however they want, they do everything in secrecy. The law, as usual, cannot do anything about it. The mafia family has been too powerful for generations and without physical proof, nothing can be done. Our story mainly comes from the view of two star crossed lovers. Completely divided by the laws of both good and bad. Just like Romeo and Juliet, can these two be successful in their love?
Love-fia Chp. 1
"Hey, Mia!" she turned around.
One of her classmates was running towards her on the school hallway. "Wait for me!" her curly pony-tailed hair was bouncing as she ran up to her.
Mia turned to look at her. She was about to drop all the notebooks and papers she was holding onto, but she managed to get it all back together. She waited for her. As soon as she got near her, Mia smiled.
"I thought you were with Akito-senpai, Nookie." Mai asked her friend. Mia was wearing her usual school uniform.
Her short brown hair was as usual up to her shoulders. She had her hair pin clipped that has a teddy bear face on it.
Nookie flinched and so did her curly pony-tailed hair bounced.
"I was but then... I decided to help you do your work instead!" she changed the subject.
"He-y. Wait!" But before Mia can stop Nookie, she had already took half of the books she was carrying.
"What is this?" Nookie looked at her, "The teachers are making you do their chores again?"
"It's not like that!" she tried to defend, "They're just busy alright!"
"Tsk, tsk," Nookie swung her head sideways. "You have to control your life! You shouldn't let anyone control it." she sighed.
"B-but.." Mia didn't say anything else.
Nookie just snickered and started to walk slowly alongside Mia.
She looked up at the ceiling, "Akito-senpai... He... Uhh." she started. "I found out a side of him that I never expected. I didn't like it. So I.. Uhmm, dumped him."
"You what?!" Mia jumped. "But that's Akito-senpai we're talking about here! "
"And now we're closing Akito-senpai right now." Nookie suggested. Mia didn't say anything else. She knew she was probably already hurt by what just happened.
"Library..." Mia said randomly, she turned to look at the sad Nookie, "We'll be bringing these things to the library."
"Oh!" Nookie jumped. "Ok!" she tried to smile.
Both Mia and Nookie dropped the books at the counter. They didn't bother to tell the librarian since Nookie quickly pushed Mia out of the room.
"Any crushes?" Nookie sipped the juice out of the juice box. It made a slurping sound. They were both sitting down at the bench outside the building. The leaves of the trees was swirling around in the air as the wind passes by.
"Huh?" Mia looked at her. She was flushing with redness. "No. I don't think so..."
"How about the friend of that jerk, Naruhi-senpai?" Nookie suggested.
Mia once again flushed with redness. She was trying hard not to show it by placing her hands to cover her cheeks. "I-uh, don't think so."
"Lies." Nookie grinned.
"St-stop it, Nookie!" Mia groaned.
They both laughed.
"But it's impossible." Mia opened up the conversation. "Naruhi-senpai won't even look at me. Beside's he has a lot more of pretty girls around him. I have no chance."
Nookie sighed. "Yeah, it's great how love can sometimes be such a disappointment." She places her juice box on the bench beside her. "Not good at all."
Mia was just staring at her unopened juice box on her lap. She already knew she has no confidence to tell what she wants to say. She just decided to just stay at the sidelines for now.
"Hey! Let's go to a club tonight!" Nookie stood up. She turned around to face Mia. "Let's rock our hearts out till we get these feelings out of it!" she grinned.
Mia stared at the happy face of Nookie. It wasn't her usual smile.
'Did it really hurt that much, Nookie?' she thought to herself.
She just swung her head and loked up at Nookie, "Alright. I've been keeping some feelings, I want to vent it out too." she smiled back.
