It was a beautiful sunny day and almost everyone was out and about. Children were out playing and laughing merrily; while under the watchful eyes of their parents. Who too were out enjoying the sunshine. It was a peaceful day. Some hoped the peace would last but, unfortunately at night the war would continue.

The war between the vampires and the humans has carried on for fifty years. Two years into the war a prophet announced that peace would come when the prophesised child was accepted by the vampires and, when the humans and vampires worked together in harmony to protect her. The child had not yet been found. But the prophecy did say the child would be talented. The child would have gifts that would set her apart from others.

As the years passed both sides gave up hope that the child would be found. So it has now become an old story that some vampires or humans tell their children.

Soon however the prophecy would come to pass. Unknown to the world as the child had been born six years ago.

Oblivious to her own fate.

In a tiny room a little girl about six years old was sitting on her bed staring at her lap. Her long raven curls reached the middle of her back. Her chocolate coloured eyes had released the tears she was trying to hold back.

'Why does no one want me? Maybe the other children are right who would want a freak like me.'

The girl was an orphan her mother died given birth to her and her father never wanted a child so here she was waiting for someone who would love and accept her.

So every time it came time for an adoption she would get her hopes up. Though it always ended up in disappointment for her.

So this time she decided she would make a wish and hope someone would hear her plea.

'I wish someone would come and take me away. Someone who would love me and would want me for me.'

"Alice, dinner time!"

The little girl known as Alice rubbed her eyes and then got up to head down for dinner.

Meanwhile in an old mansion. A young vampire lay in her coffin to rest until sunset. However her rest had been disturbed by a Childs plea in her head.

'I wish someone would come and take me away. Someone who would love me and would want me for me.'

And, her eyes shot opened.

'Who was that child?' she wondered before she returned to her rest.

Hi this is just an idea that hit me I'm not sure if I should continue. So please tell me what you think. Oh and sorry it's short.
