When I finally open my eyes I realize the red marks have reopened from moving my feeble arms too much. I get up from my place in front of the sink. I stumble into the shower in my clothes and turn on the water. Warm liquid burns my open skin, but I don't care. As my clothes grow wet and heavy I take them off and examine the damage.

Their teasing words hurt more than anything she could ever do to herself. The apathy takes over. This time they won't win. She runs far away, her feelings left far behind. They have stolen so much from her. Her childhood. Her blood. Her sanity. As she unconciously runs, she realizes where her legs are leading her. But they are behind her. And they are going to find out.
