Away

{By Rose Diamund}

The world so unfeeling,

The people empty

The heart and soul always begins to break

Even at the memories

Away, away

From the hollow today

Away from the cold tomorrow

Away, away

From the heart breaks

Away from the unending sorrow

For despite the hate

She stands on her feet

Her strong-will shining through

She walks away from the that demeaning fate

That she was condemned to

She holds back tears

And turns her back

On all those frightening times

She won't forget, she'll remember clear

All the wasted years.

Away, away

From the hollow toady

Away from the cold tomorrow

Away, away

From the heart breaks

Away from the unending sorrow

With her head held high

She carries on her heart and her mind alike

She travels on through snow and sleet

Knowing the limit is the sky

Away, away

From the hollow today

Away from the cold tomorrow

Away, away

From the heart breaks

Away from the unending sorrow

She moves to happiness

She fades away the rotten yesterdays

And she moves

Away, away.
