The Boy with the Golden Heart

There lived a boy in this world
who was never blessed with the gifts,
That people take for granted each and every day,
For him it was impossible to walk and even talk sometimes,
But he was happy.

The boy found joy from life that others could not,
To him life was a joyous moment even though he was challenged,
As time passed by he shared his joy with the people around him,
The people smiled and laughed with the boy,
It was if he had a golden heart.

Then one day a disaster struck,
The boy was ill and could not fight alone,
So the people did what they could to support him,
Whether it was by prayer or by company,
The people supported him throughout his trial.

Even though the boy did not make it through that night,
The people will always remember him for what he had did for him,
His joy and happiness lives through his friends now
