Love like a river.

Always flowing,

Never ceasing.

A friend gives comfort,

Comfort like a house.

Sturdy, supportive,

To see you through a storm.

A friend gives encouragement,

Encouragement like a strong wind,

Urging you to press forward.

Especially after the storm.

A friend is a gift.

A gift to be treasured,

Treasured forever.
