The van came two days ago. To some it was just a normal moving van but to us it was a reminder of horror and the terrible things that had occurred. By us I pretty much mean Sara, Billy, Bob and I as mom and Josh like to pretend that it was all a bad dream. I had almost forgotten everything myself but that was before I opened the front door to reveal the moving van and Alyssa handing me this journal. I hadn't seen her in so long that I had to rack my brain before I remembered who she was. Also I was angry because I didn't know what she was thinking coming here all the way from Chicago just to bring those thoughts back into my head. I was ready to close the door in her face right then and there but instead I let her in. Along with my journal she also brought me a newspaper article with a headline reading HOUSE ABANDONED ONCE MORE HAUNTING BELIEVED TO BE TRUE

This I tossed into the fire because I was afraid and almost embarrassed to read it. Then I locked myself in my room until our belongings from our old house were stacked in the garage and I never went near it I didn't because the haunting was true and I didn't want anything to remind me of it.
