In Silence
Author:

I sit in place. Never moving an inch. I wait for "The Angel of Death" to come... Patiently, I watch as the sand in the hourglass slips away silently, in the darkness, I sit and wait. My time has come, no hero showed up, though at last I am free, from this horrible waiting...

In silence I wait,

For my inevitable fate,

The time ticks away,

In this state I cannot stay.

The sand is trapped behind the glass,

In which it counts my time to pass.

For every grain that falls in time,

The life I live is less defined.

The cause of such situation remains,

A mystery covered by many pains.

So as I sit in silence and wait,

The savior I yearned for is much too late.

My time has passed,

The flame extinguished,

The silence I sit in is finally finished.
