"Do you know where the TPod is?" the man asks his daughter. She shakes her head "No." He leaves the room "Okay. Now I'm confused." She tries to continue reading her book, but now she's curious. Where had the TPod gone? The house wasn't that large.
She remembers her sister being the last one to have it. Come to think of it. She hadn't seen her sister in a while either. She put her book down and started to look. Her first idea where to look was the living room. But then she thought her father would've found it by now if it was there. So then she went into her sister's room. She opened the door and saw the lights were off. Strange, she had thought. She reached for the switch and turned it on. There was a flash of bright light and then it went dark. She turned to leave, but then she heard muffled laughter.

She walked into the room again searching for it's source, but then it stopped. Experiencing a mixture of terror and confusion she head for the door. Then the laughter continued. This time it sounded like it was coming from right behind her. She turned around and saw a pair of bright red glowing eyes staring straight into her own. She began to scream. She thought someone would hear it. She thought someone would come.

No one heard. No one came.

Then came a sinister laugh. She felt something wrap around her neck. She felt it become tighter. It was getting hard to breathe.
She tried to fight it, but she knew it was no use. She felt it pull her. Forcing her to walk forward. She was pulled across the room. It pulled her to the nightstand. There it was. There was the TPod. When she reached the edge of it she had finally pried free. Then she ran.

She was at the door when that thing grabbed her ankles. It pulled her back toward the nightstand. "NO!" she screamed trying to dig her nails into the carpet. It pulled her feet in first. "No!" she screamed "NO! NO! NO!" Now she was up to her waist. She could no longer feel what was below it. The middle of her chest. Her neck. Her chin. Her nose. She tried to scream but it came out muffled. Her eyes were slowly being dragged in.

She moved her arms around frantically trying to grab something.
Anything.

Nothing...
