The Bells and Chimes
Author:
Bbydhyonchord PM
Alone in a psychiatric hospital, dealt with the delusions and hallucinations of a wretched monster called The Black Serpent, the only key to your survival is a guardian angel who can only do so much to help. Based on a memory that I've kept inside my saddened wombed heart for what seems to be decades. Written in 2010.

Let me hear

The Bells

And

Chimes

Again

Let me hear

Of the innocence I beheld

As a kid

Let me see

Of the hands that

Caressed me

And told me

Everything

Was going to be

Alright

Let me see

Of the darkness

That held me

And I was swallowed

In Evil's throat

And I woke up

With such a

Fright

Let me feel

Of his fur

That felt like

Silken

Twine

Let me feel

Of the scorpions

That stabbed me

In the middle of the

Night

Let me smell

The scent of the

Sun

When you sat

Near the

Windowsill

Let me smell

Of the

Blood

That my

Razor has

Spilled

Let me taste

Your warm

Friendly

Kisses

Let me taste

Of the

Honey

That was so

Wrong

And made me

Flick my mind's

Switches

Let me hear

The Bells

And

Chimes

Again

And please make

These memories

Bury inside me

Cold

And

Dead
