Little fairy dear,

Her wings have been plucked.

A mean human clipped them,

So now he has bad luck.

What will happen,

To my little fairy dear?

Without her wings,

She cannot dance or cheer.

Little fairy dear,

Please do not cry.

Your wings will grow back,

And then you'll soar the sky!

Little fairy dear,

Didn't you know?

If your wings are clipped,

They'll grow back once more!
