My Lungs Will Burst
My lungs will burst
So much I scream
But what comes first?
After the dream
The burning thirst
Or the sunbeam?
My life has just
Gone down the drain
Swirling to dust
Over and over again
I feel I must
Endure the pain
Can't go back now
I can't pretend
Before I take a bow
Upon my end
One final song
A midnight weep
Rejoicingly wrong
Into your arms I'll creep
I shan't wait long
After it all, you're mine to keep
