NOTES: This in-class description was to be based on one or more of the five senses based off an occurrence that had happened to us that day. Since I am a writer, I have a certain caffeine addiction. Which sucks sometimes. So here is a quick prose about it.

Addiction

Glinting in the early morning sun like buzzing beetles, cars were stalling in the drive thru-line at my local coffee shop that supplied my caffinated craving. When I walked in, the normal hazy scent of roasting cocoa beans that usually greeted me in friendly welcome were swallowed up by the hordes of waiting customers. "Damn. Ash Wednesday," I realized, equal parts indignant and thirsty.
