Winter's Last

By: C. Nicholson

Cold, icy wind

blows my hair,

chills my body

everywhere—

Winter's last

breath of life

as the sun shines

with grand strife.

Knowing that

winter's gone,

saying good-bye

to snowy dawn.

A/N: Thanks for clicking my poem! I wrote this in 2009 and found it in an old dust-covered notebook a few weeks ago and I decided to put it on here; after it got a smidgen of fame on Figment. Well, I hope you have an amazing day and I'd appreciate any critique or praise of any kind. Thanks again!

Blessings,

Sapphire
