NOTES: For this in-class assignment, we were supposed to work on metaphors and similes. Unfortunately, I was really exhausted that day. I ended up messing up the assignment and accidentally wrote a poem. Not that it was graded (Thank Any Religious, Benevolent Icon). Still I thought it was kind of quirky, so I'm going to share it with you.

Ode to Anime
Ya know…
There is something epic
About standing under a cherry tree,
Humming a language-less tune
As those pink blossoms
Drift through
the crisp, spring air.
