A/N: Three haikus, interlaced into one poem.
Tide Rolls Away
The tide rolls away,
pulling its white sheets back to
the horizon's line.
It leaves behind it
wet sand for humans to make
their mark on this earth.
But then it returns
and erases every trace,
saying, "Nothing stays!"
