Choice

Chapter 1

I picked up a carton of milk and placed it in my shopping basket. What next? Cereal. I headed over to the cereal isle. I picked up a box of cheerios then went in the line to pay. As i waited in line, I straitened out my green top and pulled the straps tighter. I shoved my hands in the pockets of my blue jeans. I had been ignoring the current shinigammi that was following me - Spike. He was clearly annoyed by this.

'Oi ! Laura !' Spike said waving his boney hand in my face.

'Go away' I mumbled silently. The person infrount of me finished at the till. I stepped forward and put my shopping basket down. The women at the counter scanned all the stuff and put it all into two bags.

'Thats ten pound and twenty five pence, please.' The women said impatiantly. I reached in my bag for my purse and i pulled out the money. I gave the women the money, picked up the bags and left the shop. I watched all the different shinigammi's walking around. Im the only one who can see them. I have had the - As my friend, Ashly says - "talent" since i was a baby. I am getting sick of this though. Damn shinigammis. Soon i got home. I shut the door on Spike but like always, that doesnt work.

'Haha. You big fail laura !' Spike laughed, walking though the wall.

'Will you just go away!' I shouted at him. Spike scowled at me. I rolled my eyes at him. 'You shinigammis dont scare me' I said flapping my hand at him.

'Not even a little?' Spike asked.

'Nope' I said turning my back on him.

'What if i kill your family?' The shinigammi asked, smiling.

'If you kill my family, Pandora will kill you' I said, giving him a mean look.

'Oh yeah. Where is pandora?' Spike asked, looking around.

'Following my family. I asked her too. I dont want them to get hurt' I replyed, walking upstairs.

'Im going before she gets back. Bye laura' Spike said walking out.

'Dont come back' I mumbled. I turned and walked to my bedroom. Stupid shinigammis.
