Mirror, Mirror on the wall
Who's the fairest of them all?
Who is perfect? Who is kind?
Who can love and be all mine?
Mirror, Mirror, tell me please:
Who would help? Who would ease?
Tell me something to end sorrow
Mirror, NOW!
I have to know.
I tell you what you want to hear:
Truth and Lies are not so near.
You talk to me but only come
When you 'need' me, your loving, dumb
Mirror sitting in his place
Feeding you, saving face.
Exactly what you would expect
A doting, loving, loyal Pet.
I never leave, but no complaints
Cause surely no one else would wait
Hand and foot at my beck and call
Who would serve Mirror On The Wall?
But look at your reflection and you will see
I can't be you. I'm simple me.
Mistress, Mistress, learn to be
Gracious, show some courtesy.
Everything you've asked, I've done
With little thanks. (Or how 'bout none?)
Only insults, put-me-downs
Left falling, shattered on the ground.
I pick me up so you can't see
The scars and damage you've given me.
