Driven to the ends of the world
I seek to prove myself
to everyone else.

It is in this search that I find myself
looking for recognition,
to be given an opportunity
that makes me worth something.

I want to be strong for others
to ingrain in them that leaders
should be dependable,
willing to take responsibility
and are there to listen.

I don't deserve to be a person
to be look up to.

Striving to uphold all these problems
on shoulders weakened, sore
my journey is to discover who I am,
and what purpose I choose to seek.
