SILENCE

The sun is rising, a clearing view

Isolated I'm watching the flame

Haunted by the world I knew

The night is dying, screaming my name.

Forgotten words, those never heard

Those never spoken, left behind

Something is missing, something's absurd

I'm seeing the colours and still I am blind.

No sound, no scream, a friend in the void

A gentle silence flows in my veins

A world full of terror and lives destroyed,

A quiet farewell is all that remains.
