Two individuals who don't really know how to continue a friendship or romance that they once had. I wrote this a while ago and I kind of forgot about it. I thought I'd publish it.

Words Unspoken
Meeting you seems like ages ago
I never knew that you would mean
So much to me, but it seems
Since out time apart, we've grown apart
Does it really mean that for us?
Every time we have crossed paths
There is rarely any action
In this suffocating air between us
The words are caught in our throats
With all these awkward stares
And with many words unspoken
I've always thought about calling
But what can I say?
There's too many things I need to
Share with you, but I don't
Know if you'd believe me
I wonder if you don't like me
Every time we have crossed paths
There is rarely any action
In this suffocating air between us
The words are caught in our throats
With all these awkward stares
And with many words unspoken
I always wondered if you missed me
I always dreamed of meeting again
I never thought it'd be like this
I wonder if I did something wrong
To push you in the wrong direction
Now in person we have nothing to say
Every time we have crossed paths
There is rarely any action
In this suffocating air between us
The words are caught in our throats
With all the awkward stares
And with many words unspoken
I keep saying I don't need you
But I know it's a lie in me
I wonder if our history
Was just all a huge joke
But we don't know how to bring it up
So it lies unspoken
