SORRY ABOUT THE WAIT

I WOULD'VE DONE IT LAST WEEK, BUT I FORGOT THAT I HAD A STUPID TEST THAT DAY SO...

AND I DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME YESTERDAY...

Ok, let's just say that I lost all my memories after the mix with the blue liquid and the orange liquid. I was like a dumb idiot for around three hours and then we got started again. Now let's cut to the part where it's all over because I don't want to talk about it. It still makes me shiver just by the thought of it…

All of us, and our doctors as our guardian and bodyguards, went to New York City for another interview of mine…and theirs. Since it didn't start for another 5 hours I decided to take Chun to the grave. It's around July now and it suddenly got a bit cold in New York. I rub my right arm with my left hand. It was getting cold for some reason… I quickly stopped when I realized Chun was watching me.

We crossed the street and around the corner and that's when Chun handed me his jacket.

"No, you wear it." I said

"No you're only wearing a T-shirt and shorts, you should wear it." Chun replied

"No it's yours, I'm not cold anyway." I insist. Jeezzz… Why bother, he knows I'm lying…

"Oh come on, I just saw you rub your arm." He tried to wrap it around my shoulders.

"No, you should wear it because your only wearing a T-shirt if you're not wearing your jacket and I'll feel guilty." I answer.

"You're going to get sick if I don't give this to you."

"You seriously-"

"Yes, we can't let you get sick."

"I doubt I will."

"No, you will."

"Why does it matter to you? You'll end up getting sick too."

"It doesn't matter to me if I get sick because I don't want you getting sick and such. I don't care if I do so here! I only care about you!" Chun shoved my arm in the arm hold and then did it to my other arm.

There it is. The word care.

I wonder what it's like to care… Maybe it's like that one time when I was going to block Chun from getting hit in the car accident. I felt the need to just block him from getting hurt. I couldn't just sit there. So that feeling just then was care and worry. Wasn't it? That has to be it.

I let my head lean on his arm and smiled.

I felt my hand lock with his.

Well if you think about it, now my left hand is going to get warmer this way too…

Then I felt him yank my arm and I just about fell in front of him, but I caught my balance.

"Chun-sempai!" I shout when he lifted me up.

He put me down on his feet, my hands in his, me facing the front, and he started walking.

I smiled. I gripped his hands tighter so I wouldn't fall forward or anything.

"So the word fun means to get silly and crazy?" She questions

"Well, it's when you laugh and have an enjoyable time with others." Chun defines.

….Then this is fun? I like it. I find it enjoyable… I'm smiling about it too…

"T-This is fun." I stutter smiling.

"So you finally understand huh?" Chun laughs

I nod my head.

"This is so much fun!" I smile and he pulled my arms and down toward the ground forcing me to fall forward and just about screaming. (65%, like I said a few chapters ago…I know shouldn't have put it there unless I was going to use it in that chapter, but anyway! This is the percentage of how much the meter in her locket is at. ~Kiato)

He quickly forced my hands up toward the sky and was then pulled closer to him.

"Fun right?" He asks.

"Fun." I answer. We walked past stores and restaurants walking this way. Then across the street you could hear couples argue about how they never had this idea.

HA!

When we finally arrived at the cemetery, Chun let me walk on my own and I walk into this little hut. I find my sister's name in her box. Well it was designed like this since people would sometimes forget easy they bring what they need here in the hut so they can remember. I look in her box and grab the watch? I don't know what the hell it it, but Chun should know what it is… I walk out of the hut and see two guys at a grave. I walk over to them.

Oh it's Chun, but then…

"Ge Ge?!" I scream and run up to him. I jump into his arms.

"Sekai I-"

"Don't give me that damn shit about missing me! I don't care because I'm right here now! So shut the hell up on the stupid shit about missing me!" I hit him on the shoulder.

"Always the same." He laughs.

"Shut up!" I said and hugged him tighter.

Once He put me down on the ground I handed the watch looking thing to Chun.

"Hey Ge Ge, Are you doing well in school?" I ask.

"Always looking after me." He laughed

"Of course."

"Yeah, straight A's."

"Are you eating well? You aren't eating too much are you?"

"No I'm fine. Besides I'm 17. I can handle these things on my own."

"Oh yeah," I asked in a stern tone, "Is your room clean?"

"Well I wouldn't say it's clean, but I wouldn't say it's messy." He laughed nervously.

"Look who's talking now. Oi, you're still the same when it comes to a clean room."

"How many extracurricular classes are you taking?"

"Um, almost all of them."

"Who is it this time?"

"What do you mean?"

"Who's the girl you're dating?"

"Oh, um…really?"

"Yes really! I've been gone for about a month, its July, school is going to start again next month, you're taking online classes in the summer, and I won't see you until…who knows when."

"It's Alice again."

"A-Alice?!" I jump up and down super eager to know

"Yeah, we started dating a week when you left and still are together."

"You didn't forget-"

"Not a single information slipped."

"That's my Ge Ge." I smiled and he ruffled my hair.

"Sekai, maybe you should call more often." Chun suggested.

"Well I have been calling but it's kind of hard to explain. Ge Ge has a complex schedule. It's filled with school, work, girlfriend, and extracurricular classes. It takes up most of his day. While for me it's still pretty complex. It's filled with training, you guys, interviews, Doctor Sally visits, and other shit that come up occasionally for no reason. So it's hard for us both to find time to talk right, Ge Ge?" I turned to him.

"Yeah, with extracurricular classes, online classes, and work I barely have time to talk, breathe, or even use the damn bathroom!"

"Oi…"

Chun laughs at our behavior.

"Didn't you say you live in Florida?" Ge Ge asked.

"Yeah."I answer.

"That's great! That means I'll be able to visit you during winter break with Alice!" He smiles.

"I can't wait to see Alice, but she's probably busy."

"She's taking online classes and some extracurricular classes with me too you know."

"Really? You better treat her good."

"I will, and I won't let her slip this time."

I smiled and we said our goodbyes.

It was around three when we met up with the rest who found a hotel we can live in.

"I'm going shopping, anyone coming with?" Doctor Sally asked

"I'll go with you." I said standing up.

"I'll go too." Onii-chan said.

"I'm staying here." Suna said.

"Me too." Chun yawned.

"I guess I'll go." Subaru smiled

We go down the elevator and out the door.

"WHAT?! You SAID TODAY LITTLE MAN!"

We all snapped our heads in the direction of the voice.

Another one of those bullies bullying a little kid.

They were at a stop sign across the street...

"Hey Onii-chan, hand me my weapon belt." I made Onii-chan carry it around for me now…

"Um, are you sure?" He asked.

"Yeah." I took it from his hands and strapped it on. Oh jeez how I missed these days.

I reached in my pocket for my needles and threw them line a paper airplane.

You could hear the echo of the sound.

The tall dude would've been hit.

Hahahahaha I still got it in me…

Doctor Sally was scared to death thinking I almost killed him.

I just have "bad aim"… No I aimed for that.

Everyone thinks I have bad aim… I'm such a good liar…

He immediately snaps his head at me.

I just stand there with my hands on my hips.

"No way." I saw his lips move.

Ha, be scared.

I crossed the street. The closer I got, the more he walked away.

He hit a wall.

Hahaha… This is the good part.

I give a devious smile and sprint to his dumb-assed face.

My fist stopped right at his forehead.

Of course I didn't hurt him. I just merely scared the shit out of him.

He ran away like a lost puppy.

I walked back to the little kid, but the kid beat me to it.

"Hey squirt." I ruffled his hair.

He's that same kid I won that teddy bear for back at the festival. (Remember?)

"Sekai! I missed you." He hugged me.

I could feel my shirt get wet.

"Aw, no don't cry." I rubbed his back.

"I-I know, b-but I missed y-you so m-much." He wailed.

"It's alright. I'm back now if that makes you happy…" I smiled.

"I'm h-happy."

I released him and got a napkin out of my pocket and wipe his face full of tears.

"If you're happy then don't cry, because then I'll cry." I laugh.

He nods his head and the crying begins to stop.

"Hey, do you still have that teddy bear?" I ask.

"Yeah, it's in my room." He smiled.

"Didn't you graduate from Kindergarten now? That means you're a first grader. Oh but I didn't get to see your graduation. I'm sorry." I said just to make him feel better. That sorry was pretty sincere.

"It's alright."

"Do you want me to walk you home?" I ask.

He nods his head rubbing his eye.

"Ok, hold my hand so you don't get lost." I said standing up.

Onii-chan and Subaru were waiting for me on the other side along with Doctor Sally.

We crossed the street and I told them where we were headed and I'll just go back to the hotel when I'm done.

"You sure you don't want us to go with you?" Doctor Sally asked.

"Well that would make the little guy nervous." I point out.

"F-Fine. Just be careful." Doctor Sally said.

"Just who do you think you're looking at? I may be sisters with Ken, but I'm not that retarded to just let the kid roam around and get kidnapped!"

"You're right. Just be safe then."

"No promises." I answer.

We walk off. I followed the little boy's directions and we ended up at an apartment. We were that far away. Actually I think I remember this street. I should at least. Come to think about it, I always run past this place in the mornings…

"Is this your house?" I ask.

"Yeah." He said.

"By the way, what were you doing out in the streets? You're a first grader." I said.

"Well I was shopping with my mom and I lost her. So my mom says if I'm ever lost. I just walk my way home. If I can though…" He said.

"Oh."

I walked him to the front door.

"Do you have keys?" I asked.

"No, but my sister's home."

"Oh Ok." I smiled relieved I didn't have to wait here with him.

He pressed the doorbell and someone just immediately opens the door and says, "There you are! Oh jeez! Mom was so worried about how you went missing, get in here now and I'll call mom."

He just stood there and turned to me.

"Are you leaving?" He asked.

"I'm going to have to, buddy." I smiled.

"W-wait." We turn to his sister now.

"You… You're Sekai aren't you? You are!" and she just jumped on me with her arms wrapped around me.

I started to get irritated.

I hate hugs.

But then I remembered something. That little boy… His sister… His sister was Alice.

Alice?!

"Alice?" I whisper.

"That's me." She released me and smiled.

I pulled her back into a hug this time.

I felt tears stream down my cheeks.

"You're famous now. How is that possible? You're brother told the entire school that you just ran away. You left us, but he told me that these guys came and got you. They brought you to Florida and one of them was your real brother."

Ge Ge realized that before me… Hm… He hasn't been going through my stuff has he?

"And then we saw you on TV a couple weeks later. H-how come you didn't tell us? We could take you in you know and make something work, so you wouldn't have to go through that. We could help you find a better environment for you to live in. You wouldn't have to have that happen to you. It's not like you'll get in the way of things." Alice said.

"That's the point. I couldn't tell you, because I WOULD just be in the way of things. I'd stress you out, besides you would have too much on your mind anyway." I look at her in the eye.

I'm dead serious.

"S-Sekai? Why don't you come in then?" She quickly returned to a smiling face.

She led me inside and everything was just peaceful.

"It's been so long that I've been in here. How long was it?" I ask.

"Ha! Your brother said the same thing." She laughs, "It's been six months."

"That's too long." I answer looking around.

"Sekai! Sekai! Do you want to see my room?" The kid tugged on my leg.

"Um, if Sekai went in your room she'll be eaten in the gigantic mess you made." Alice commented.

I giggled.

Then I remembered something.

Medication.

"Oh, no, I have to go." I say.

"But you just came in." Alice tried to make me stay.

"No, my real mom will be upset with me if I don't get going. It's almost three in the afternoon and she doesn't know where I am. I have to go. I'll see you in December, Alice!" I shout before taking off.

That was a total lie there.

I ran.

And ran

And ran

When I finally reached the hotel we were staying in. I quickly rushed in and ran up the elevators.

I burst through the doors and ran to the kitchen.

I popped the lid off and on the counter.

And chugged the whole thing down.

I finally took a breath.

I set the cup down. Jeez, I'm surprised I found my way back.

I snapped the lid back on and put the bottle away.

I turned around and instantly jumped back, away from what I didn't know was there before.

I looked closely and saw that it was Chun.

"You scared the hell out of me." I said.

"Well you scared the hell out of me too." He answered.

"Where were you?" I asked confused that I didn't see him when I walked in.

"You were too busy trying to take your damn medication that you didn't hear me or notice me." He replied.

"Well it's not my fault that I didn't want anything to happen to me." I sighed.

"Something wrong?" He asked.

"I bumped into a little kid who was sisters with my Ge Ge's girlfriend, and I totally forgot and lost track of time that I just barely forgot to take my medication. Dude, I'm fucking exhausted! I ran faster than usual!" I shout and lean against the counter.

"Well, it's good to know your back."

So then…it's not good that I'm back? His voice sounded like he was upset.

Oh well, it doesn't bother me.

(Like I said a couple chapters ago… the percentage of how much liquid is in the locket. Reread chapter 15. Fell down to 49% from 50%)

"I'm going to call Doctor Sally." I said and walked outside of the apartment and into the hallway. I dialed her number and she immediately picked up.

"What is it?! What happened?!" She shouted over the phone that I had to pull my ear away from the phone.

"I went back to the apartment and you can stop shouting." I answer quickly.

"Oh." She relaxed.

"Yeah, so when are you coming back?" I ask.

"I don't know… There are still lots that I want to buy…" She paused and quietly said, "Give me one hour."

"Ok." I said swallowing hard.

"Be careful!" She said before I dismissed our call.

I thought a little.

I've been in the same house with them before. It's not like they'll do something.

"What she say?" I suddenly jumped in surprise and my fist just about landed on that persons face before I stopped myself.

"Don't just jump out of nowhere without my knowing!" I shout.

"So what I'm comprehending is that I scared you so bad you were going to punch me." Chun said putting his hand on my fist. I slowly put it down.

"Are you-wait, you're never hungry." Chun corrected himself and walked back inside slamming the door on my face.

What the hell?

I put my hand of the door knob and instantly pulled it back.

What the hell is wrong with me?

Then I thought back to back then…

Is something bad going to happen?

Is it that bad?

Oh well, it's probably just me or something.

"I'm so hungry!" Suna complained.

"There's no food in here, the stairs are under construction and the elevator is being repaired for the next hour. We're going to have to wait." Chun said.

What now?

It's alright. It's just an hour for the elevator to work. I can handle this.

It's not like I'm going to die or something.

I turn the door knob and walk in…slowly. And close the door…slowly.

I tiptoe to the bathroom and lock the door.

"Hey wait! There are some chocolates in this cabinet, but it's really high up! Give me a chair!" Suna shouts to Chun

What?!

"Are you serious?!" Chun ran to the kitchen.

My hands fumble with the doorknob and when I finally unlocked the door and opened it I shouted, "Don't eat it!"
