|If Tomorrow Never Comes
Author: musicfreak99 PM
On Sunday, the preacher at my church was talking about being saved, because you never know when your last day will be. This inspired me to write this 'poem' about my experience during that service and through out my years dealing with becoming a Christian.Rated: Fiction T - English - Spiritual/Hurt/Comfort - Words: 189 - Published: 09-03-12 - Status: Complete - id: 3055665

If tomorrow never comes, are you prepared to face The Lord?
Are you proud of what you have done with your time on Earth?
Do you even believe in God?
Do you believe His existance?
Me, you ask? Do I believe Him?
That answer is not to be revealed, not because I have a problem sharing my beliefs,
But because I'm not sure of my beliefs.
The preacher preached about there not being a certain tomorrow for anyone.
Tears filled my eyes as he asked if anyone was ready to accept Jesus, because we never know when our last day will be.
I started thinking,''Do I love God? Am I ready to go up to the preacher and say I'm ready to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior?''
I was very tempted to go up to the preacher and tell him I was ready to accept Jesus into my heart... But I didn't.
I'm not ready. I wish I was, because I don't know when my last day will be.
Don't be me... Accept Him,
Because you never know when your last day will be.
