As the old kingdom fell
No one was there to pick up the shattered pieces
The old kingdom was a beacon of hope
But no hope was left
The spirits whom roam this now desecrated land
Live on in their happy memories
They live as if nothing changed
But alas nobody sees them as they can see naught
Remember that day
So the dream may not die
The dream of rebirth
For that kingdom is our final resting place
It is the burial ground of our forefathers
They roam in their own peace
To see this kingdom you must see into yourself
Look into the mirror with an open mind
Turn out the candles and feel the warmth
For the kingdom can be you
A broken dream
A shattered heart
A fragmented memory
