Episode 4: New York, Central Park

Dani: Wow look at this hotel, I love the bedroom!

Becky: I know, chandeliers protruding for the ceiling, vast red carpet. Glad to know the hotel was built in 1920 it has that sort of feel.

Dani: Yeap but I love our room!

Becky: Who wouldn't with the double beds, tv and a hot tub on the balcony!

Dani: This looks like it's going to be fun

Becky: I hope so anyway

Dani: What show are you watching?

Tv show: And I was looking at his underwear and thinking hmm shouldn't they be on the radiator not the bed?

Becky: Some weird show, I don't even know what's half of it is about

Dani: Ah I wondered it looks like something I've seen before but maybe not.

Becky: Dani? Do you know if there's a swimming pool around here I really want to go for a swim

Dani: I'm afraid not.

*Knocking on door*

Teacher: Make sure you're ready in five minutes because we are going to Central Park for a quick trip

Becky: Okay will do!

Dani: Let's go!

Becky: Dani wait up I need my bag and coat

(Outside the hotel)

Josh: Nice scarf want to blind us to death Robyn?

Robyn: Josh its white you're and you're wearing a multicoloured hat, there is no reason for you to be laughing at me!

Becky: Robyn Please calm down

Robyn: It's Josh's fault you know.

Holly: Becky, so do you have any idea on what this visit is taking place?

Becky: Wish I knew Holly

Holly: Oh but I've always wanted to go Central Park and New York it's freezing at this time of year though

Josh: Well done Holly do you want an award.

Holly: Josh, you don't know when to shut up do you?

Josh: Nope and I like it that way as well

(Central Park)

Becky: IT's so cold! I keep half expecting it to start snowing!

Josh: Well it's not

Becky: Josh I know that

Teacher: Gather around children. I'm going to tell you of some history about central park

Dani (Sarcastically): Well this should be interesting

Becky: Dani some of us do like history you know

Dani: (Thinking) Blah Blah what is Mrs Jones on about anyway! I couldn't care less about history anyway! It must be around 11 and everyone seems to have jet lag so it seems a bit ridiculous we are just standing here in the freezing cold.

(Back at hotel)

Robyn: Ah this is much better to free from the cold

Josh: You do realize we are back in the cold tomorrow Robyn?

Robyn: But that's different we probably will be inside so it will be warm

Josh: Okay Robyn whatever you say goodnight

Robyn: Night. Holly hurry up!

Holly: Sorry I was just checking out the dining room it reminds me of the school cafeteria

Together: Night Dani and Becky

Becky: Night guys see you tomorrow

(In Becky's and Dani's Hotel room)

Becky: Can't believe the first day of the holiday is over so quickly

Dani: As they say time seems to fly by when you're having fun

Becky: Yes I'm tired Dani are we going to sleep?

Danni: Took the words right out of my mouth.

Becky: (Thinking) First day done and gone, I've wrote about today in that green diary. The pages seem like they are going to fill up one by one. I have got to admire that it's a very beautiful diary. Embodied all green at the front in a sort of lacy pattern, the pages yellow and dishevelled but fine enough to write on. I don't even know if it's a diary book but I'm using that. Well another busy day tomorrow it's time I got some sleep.
