The Johnstons

Summary: Eddie Johnston has been offered a promotion at work he jumps at the opportunity. However, this means moving from California to NYC. He and his wife think this will be an adventure for all 8 of his teenage kids, but some of them think differently. When they are forced to move it causes more bickering than ever but they have to try to get along when a tragic bomb is dropped on them. Follow them on their journey where they learn just how hard life can be.

Edmund 'Eddie' Johnston
Age: 43
Description: Father of eight, married to Rita. He works at a pillow factory in California and is promoted to the NYC office. Tries to make his children happy and struggles a lot. He is tall and skinny with black hair and blue eyes. He is partially bald, much to his annoyance. He tries to be funny and make people laugh, even if they are laughing at him.

Rita Johnston
Age: 45
Description: Mother of eight, married to Eddie. She works as a self-employed party planner. She's very sarcastic and bossy, and likes to be in control. Everybody depends on her and she runs the house. She's a natural blonde but dyed her hair brown, she is skinny and her height is average and has brown eyes.

Justin Johnston
Age: 19
Description: He is the eldest of the Johnston children, and one of the two children who weren't born a twin. He is a badass with an attitude, he's a troublemaker with a motorcycle and a tribal tattoo on his arm since he was 15. He lied about his age and didn't tell anyone until it was finished, apart from Amber who he brought with him. He was held back in the 6th grade and therefore hasn't graduated from high school yet. His head is shaved and he is very muscular.

Benjamin 'Ben' Johnston
Age: 18
Description: Tyler is his non-identical twin. Ben is a nerd with a passion for science. He dreams of going to either Yale, Harvard or Princeton and wants to major in physics. He's the most mature of the Johnston kids and is dedicated to his schoolwork. He's always left in charge when Eddie and Rita are away. Has a part time job in a bookstore to help pay for college. He's tall, blonde, blue-eyed, skinny and he wears glasses.

Tyler Johnston
Age: 18
Description: Ben is his non-identical twin. Tyler is a nosy, scheming boy. He finds out everbody's secrets and either uses them to blackmail people or tells everybody. His dream is to either become a reporter or a journalist. He always wears black sunglasses, both indoors and out. He is always carring his camera around in case he sees an opportunity to get dirt on someone. He has short black hair and is skinny and spindley in comparison to his brothers.

Alex Johnston
Age: 17
Description: His twin is Nancy. He wears goth style clothing and has a negative attitude about everything. He has multiple earrings in each ear and has an eyebrow piercing. He doesn't talk much to his family unless he's insulting them and he doesn't have many friends at school apart from his best friend Cody. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Nancy Johnston
Age: 17
Description: Nancy's twin is Alex. They aren't as close as the other twins are. Nancy is judgemental, independent, extremely intelligent and some may say nerdy. She is against animal testing, sleeping around and the image society gives teenage girls. At home she is nearly always with Brenda. She is tall and skinny with brown straight hair and blue eyes. She wears glasses like Benjamin.

Brenda Johnston
Age: 16
Description: Brenda is one of the two children in the family who is not a twin. She is shy, friendly and tries not to argue with anyone. She hasn't got very many friends at school and she's bullied by the popular kids becuase she's chubby. Her best friends are Jenny, Fiona and her sister Nancy. She has ginger hair and grey eyes.

Adam Jordan 'AJ' Johnston
Age: 15
Description: AJ's twin is Amber. They are often together and are he jocks of the family. AJ isn't the smartest guy and is frequently called a dumbass by his siblings. He's a jock and is a huge football fan. He goes to the gym with Justin and Amber. He has blue eyes and blonde hair. He's tall and muscular.

Age: 15
Description: Amber's twin is AJ. Amber is a stereotypical cheerleader. She has blonde hair, blue eyes and she's beautiful. She and Nancy never get along as Nancy hates girls who look like Barbie dolls and sleep around, two things Amber is guilty of. Amber has a dream body and has had many one night stands. She is fiesty, ambitious and bitchy. She cares deeply for her family, even though she rarely says it. Her secret dream is to become either a model, dancer or singer.
