Fangs. There were fangs in Trinity's mouth. The vampires took a few steps back in shock. "You're a vampire?"

Trinity smirked and walked towards them. "I am not just any vampire." Diana left and walked around behind them and pushed them to the ground. "Bow down to your queen you waste of lives." Queen?

It was silent as everyone looked at Trinity with horror. "The qu..queen?" The man stuttered.

Trinity smiled, standing right in front of them. "That is correct. I must say that I am disappointed. I disappear for just four years and this is what the vampires chose to do with their lives? Haven't I given you all a safehaven to live? Haven't I fed you enough blood without murdering people?" The way she spoke had so much power in it.

The two clasped their hands and shook them. "Oh please forgive us your grace. Please forgive us. We were told to find you and take you with us to our masters." The wimps, begging for mercy.

Trinity looked at them with no emotion as she leaned down and sniffed them. She pulled away with disgust. "I smell lots of blood on you two, human blood. How many families have you killed on your search for me? It smells more than five. My best guess is you are the reason for the attacks on the news am I correct?" They did not answer. She stood back up and looked at them with a smirk. "I do not let killers live." Trinity looked at the two as a sudden power filled the air, making it hard to breathe. The two screamed in pain as suddenly their heads were cut from their bodies and rolled on the ground in front of Trinity. She didn't even touch them!

She looked at them like they were nothing and turned to us. "Ryker, burn the bodies." To scared to say anything, Ryker waved his hands and soon the bodies were ashes. After that it was an uncomfortable silence as we stared at Trinity. Here we were wondering who the queen was and here she was.

"All of you, follow me." We hurried along as we followed the two down the halls until we reached the headmaster's office. Diana opened the door and we all walked in. "Sit." Trinity ordered as she sat in the headmaster's chair. We all scampered like lost puppies on to the two couches. We all looked down, not knowing what to even say.

"Why are you all so scared. Is not the first lesson Diana taught us was to never show fear?"

Yorkie was the first to speak up. "What do you expect. You just killed those vampires in front of us and now we find out you are the queen." That power she had; it was so strong. "You smell like a human, how is that possible?"

She held up her necklace she wore. "This conceals my true form as well as hides my scent so I smell like a human." So that is why she was so protective of it.

I felt Makoto nudge me and when I looked at him his eyes were wide saying It is OK. "You should listen to Makoto. Remember what Diana said, I only show my true nature for those who do me wrong." How could she listen to Makoto? "I am the Queen of not just vampires, but all mysticals. I have a strong connection to dragons and unicorns."

I looked at Haku. "Is this why you liked her so much?" He nodded. "The camouflage does not work on unicorns or dragons who are under my rule."

"Thank you, for saving us." Riley said in her most sincere tone. Everyone else chorused in when Trinity began giggling. "Wow, this is the first nice thing you guys have told me since I came here."

We all began to panic again. For the last four years we have done nothing but be mean and call her names. I only show my true nature for those who do me wrong. We were all dead. "Your highness, maybe it is best not to scare them. They have seen so much in one night." Thank you Diana.

Trinity smiled an actual smile and not an evil one. "Yes, you are right Diana. I just could not help myself." She looked at us. "You are not to tell anyone of what has happened tnight or I will punish you." Even when she said it so sweet it sounded threatening. We nodded. "Good. Now you are free to go back to your dorms. Diana, could you please escort them back. I am going around to make sure no other vampire is running around." Diana shook her head and led us out.

"I used to call her freak so many times. If I had known I would have never." Ever was still worried, hell we all were. I had to loosen her grasp on my arm as Makoto was glaring at her.

"You think that's bad. I laughed in her face when she dropped her plate last Christmas." Ty said.

"I tripped her once." Yorkie cried.

"I made fun of her last name."

Diana shushed us. "that is one thing about her majesty. She knew what she was getting into posing as a human student while still having vampire urges. Now she has not forgotten everything that people has did to her because she thinks it was unfair to treat her like that for being different, but she will not hold a grudge. Queen Trinity is too good for such a thing." Hearing all this I felt admiration. For everything that has happened to her, well, let's say if I was her I would make everyone pay. She was very noble. "But she really does not like any you." Diana laughed as she added that part. I wouldn't blame her.

"Is it safe for her to be out there alone? What if another vampire shows up?" Ash asked.

"The queen is the most strongest vampire out there. Besides, I had guards follow her around just to be careful."

Ryker and I were the last she dropped off. When we headed in it took us a minute before I went to take a shower and he just went straight to bed. Haku was fast asleep in his bed in the corner of my room. I laid in my bed and stared out the window, thinking about today. Outside I noticed Trinity twirling around through the courtyard. She was a wonderful dancer as that is what she excelled in. When she stopped she looked right at me.

There was this weird feeling in my stomach and my eyes began to sting but I continued to stare into her dark brown eyes as I felt some sort of connection. She broke it, turning away. I fell down in my bed and closed my eyes. Slowly falling asleep, one word popped into my mind before I passed out.

Mate.
