Zoe recalled a time where she wasn't Bi Polar; in fact she was a fairly normal aside from the fact that she's a werecat. But that all changed when Zoe's parents divorced, and during that time she refused to be with neither parent, instead she went to see her grandmother who lived in upstate New Hampshire. But not long after Zoe turned 14, her grandmother died of a heart attack, sadden by the events she started to develop Bi Polar Disorder. So she was forced to live with her mother, who she loathed. But that's not her reason of getting a one-way ticket to Westmore was a little incident that happened in school.

"Mom I didn't mean to send that slut to the hospital." Zoe pleaded with her mother.

"Just be lucky you're not in juvie!" Ms. White yelled.

"Do I have to be in Westmore?" Zoe asked in her gloomy side.

"Do you want to be in school?" Ms. White asked back.

"Yes mom." Zoe mournfully said.

Then an orderly came out from the building and Zoe got out of the car, with her suitcases filled with clothes, make-up and personal items.

"Zoe White?" The orderly asked.

"That's me." Zoe said in her happy side.

"Follow me." The orderly said to Zoe.

"Bye mom, I hope you never see me again." Zoe scowled in her gloomy side.

As soon as Zoe turned her back, her mother sped off, and Zoe went inside

After a strip search and a physical, Zoe was ready to get started on her new life, as an asylum patient. But there was something that they overlooked during the search: an old necklace that belonged to her dead grandmother.

"Wait, before you go in, you have to take that necklace. Jewelry is not allowed in the wards." The orderly instructed.

"It's special to me!" Zoe hissed like a cat.

"You're making this difficult." The orderly said.

"Difficult this!" Zoe screamed, as she took a swipe from her razor-sharp claw to his face.

"I need help! The new girl is gone crazy!" The orderly screamed to get the other orderlies.

The orderlies came rushing to the injured orderly's aid. Zoe tried to take them on, but was sedated before she had a chance of attacking them. She fell like a sack of potatoes when she fell down.

After a while Zoe woke up being restrained to her bed. She noticed the room being small, dark, and dank. Then Dr. Monroe showed up to evaluate her.

"Zoe White?" Dr. Monroe asked.

"What is this place?" Zoe asked in return.

"You're at Westmore Home for the Insane." Dr. Monroe answered.

"Why am I in restraints?" She asked.

"You sent an orderly to the hospital, and two orderlies brought you here in restraints" He answered.

"Ok." Zoe said bluntly.

"Now then, can I ask you some questions?" Dr. Monroe asked.

"Go right ahead." Zoe answered.

"Now have you ever had thoughts of suicide?" He asked.

"No." She said.

"Have felt depressed?" He continued to ask.

"Sometimes." Zoe cooed in her gloomy side.

"There was an incident you had at school, and you were expelled, unless you stay here for the minimum of a year. Can you tell me why you did it?" He explained.

"Well my depressed side makes me do very strange things." Zoe said in her joyful side.

"What things?" He asked.

"Well making me cut myself, and cause harm to others. It's very irritating." She explained, "I didn't mean to send that whore to the hospital, I was very depressed."

"This is not an excuse to get off scot-free, just how did your depressed side turn up?" Dr. Monroe asked.

"When I was 14, the same time my granny died." Zoe cried her eyes out.

"How's your home life, like?" He asked.

"My parents divorced when I was 11 and didn't want to live with either parent." She answered.

"So that's why you lived with your grandma." Dr. Monroe said in a professional manner.

"Yes. And can I get out of these restraints?" Zoe asked kindly.

"Just as long as you don't harm anyone and while you were out cold the orderlies took the liberty of trimming your claws, to prevent you from cutting yourself with them." Dr. Monroe explained, as he was loosening the restraints.

Zoe got up and Dr. Monroe escorted her to the adolescents'' unit. Where she went to the nurses' station, and noticed her stuff being inspected by an orderly.

"Is there any other things that you've taken away from me?" Zoe asked, in her gloomy side.

Just your razors, you'll be using them once a week under supervision, of course." The nurse explained.

"Can I pick the day?" Zoe asked in her joyful side.

"No it'll be on Saturday, just like everyone else." The nurse answered.

"You don't understand I'm a werecat, and our fur grows rapidly." Zoe said.

"Doesn't matter, you have to shave when we tell you to." The nurse said tersely, "As for your other things like hairbrushes, and bath supplies, will be given to you in the morning."

Zoe left the Nurses' station a little pissed off. Then she crashed into a Sea Monster.

"Watch it fleabag!" The sea monster snapped.

"Sorry, I'm new here." Zoe said, while getting the Sea Monster up on his feet.

"I'm Drake." Drake introduced.

"I'm Zoe." Zoe said to Drake.

"Just watch where you're going next time." Drake said, while straitening his clothes, and left the room.

"Just ignore him; he's pissed off at anyone." A voice came from behind Zoe.

Zoe turned around. It was a tall girl, with long black hair, brown eyes, and was wearing a black mini dress, black and purple thigh HI's, and black flats. She was reading an old book on advance dark magic spells. The girl was in fact a Witch.

"You must be new here, I'm Ember Black." Ember greeted.

"I'm Zoe White." Zoe greeted in return, "What are you in for?" She asked.

"Attempted suicide." Ember explained, while rolling up her sleeves, showing her marks on her arms.

"I'm here for Bi polar disorder." Zoe said sheepishly.

"Can you show me around?" Zoe asked.

"Sure." Ember replied.

During the tour, in a hallway, the girls were talking about various things. One subject turned up.

"So are you really a Witch?" Zoe asked.

"I am. The Black family is one of the most powerful Witch families out there." Ember explained.

"Well I haven't met a Witch before. My mom thinks they only bring trouble." Zoe recalled.

"Is your mother one of those religious nut cases?" Ember asked.

"No she just thinks that Witches and Werebeasts don't mix well." Zoe answered.

"I see, but as long as you don't tell my mom about me, and maybe she'll reconsider." Ember chided.

"I hope that." Zoe said despondently.

"How do you think of Westmore?" Ember asked.

"I spent some time in restraints." Zoe recalled her plight,

"Bummer." Ember said tersely.

"How long was I tranquilized for?" Zoe asked.

"I honestly don't know." Ember replied.

An orderly came rushing in carrying a tranquilized Drake, in his arms. The girls stepped aside and he just came as blur to the two girls.

"What's with Drake?" Zoe pondered.

"He's could be sent to Ward D for the second time." Ember answered.

"Ward D?" Zoe was curious when she said it.

"You don't need to worry about the place, it's where the most dangerous are housed." Ember explained.

"You're right." Zoe tersely said.

Two to three days later Drake returned to the adolescences' ward, just in time for lunch. Zoe and Ember came to Drake startling him and making him drop his sushi. He then turned to Zoe in disdain.

"You bitch!" Drake yelled with a malicious demeanor.

"Sorry." Zoe apologized.

"I won't forgive you for this, fleabag!" Drake barked.

"Well I hate you too, you slimy little bastard!" Zoe hissed.

Dr. Monroe rushed right in and tried to quell the fighting between the two.

"That's enough, I want you to apologize to each other and make nice, now." Dr. Monroe mediated.

"I'm sorry for startling you." Zoe apologized in her gloomy side.

"And I'm sorry for you having a mom who is a total slut." Drake snapped.

"My mom is not a slut!" Zoe hissed in disdain.

"I think it's best to keep you apart, for a little bit." Dr. Monroe said, while escorting Drake away from Zoe.

As they were being an apart from each other, Drake and Zoe made the death gesture to each other.
