But no one listens to one or the other,

Or they do but don't take the hint,

If I repeat these references too often,

They'll think I'm weird or psychotic,

Well weirder than they do already,

So I spread the references out,

But they don't hear what I mean,

Or even what I say,

But on my own,

I'll find my way,

I have to find my place in the world,

And that is where I will stay.
