Heartbroken
Listen to the sound of a mother at her child's funeral
In that you will hear me
Look at the wife of a soldier never returned
In that you will see me
The scent of flowers wilting, never to be watered
In that you will smell me
The bitter sweetness of what could have been
In that you will taste me
Feel your heart splintering apart
In that you will know me.
A/N: A poem I wrote about my crush. I found out he's with someone now, so... (points upwards) that happened.
