First Love

He had cute brown eyes

And a smile no one could despise

He had a heart of gold

And was kind without being told

He was the most perfect person I had known

And that was when my love for him had grown

To his friends he was loyal

But to me he was royal

The way he was, made him rare

And I always wished to be his pair

The memories of him I shall cherish

If they were to be forgotten I would perish

At making his heart mine I doubt shall thrive
