Twilight

His heart was ice

His stare was cold

His harsh words lashed my heart and broke me

He left me there to die

To fall asleep eternally

With the piercing memory of those murderous red eyes

Glowing in the Twilight

And to think he loved me at some point

To think his warm embraces made my heart swell

But now I realize that he used me

Kept me under a spell with his mesmerizing kisses

Just to dispose of me in at Twilight
